Amare untradeable due to huge contract.
Bargnani/Chandler limited trade value
Shumpert some trade value
hardaway/Prigioni some trade value as prospects
JR Smith little to no trade value
Melo - Value but they will want/need every penny in return.
If anyone missed it -I love fooling around with the trade machine and making up trades.
Maybe my team (Bulls) should trade for him -

Leaves the Bulls very light at PG, but they pull the trigger to get star power with DRose out.
The knicks strengthened at SF, allowing Shumpert to move back to SG.
Melo approves the trade to take the risk to play with DRose on his return, a star in the making in Butler and 2 work horses inside to rebound all his misses!
Appendix 1 - and before anyone picks on my workhorses comment -
Noah and Boozer - 21.7 FGA and 17.9 rebs (and I'd guess FGA is up without Rose)

the problem is their contracts are so big - no one can afford to take them - Stoudemire is earning more than Melo, and unless a team is super super desperate for a PF can't see anyone chasing him.No way, Get rid of Felton and stat now for players coming off contract next year like Lowry.. even if it costs Shump

Well, yes they should, but unless it's to the Lakers I can't see them getting much in return, then where does that leave them?
I think they need to try and keep him and make another move.

Saying that he's capable of 18/8 on a daily basis, he just needs that right coach to have a little faith in him and let him do his thing. Averaging 8mins a game won't do it though.
Oh and Lakers could have really used his services right about now. Do they even have a PG atm?

I hear ya, but once you pull card money out and put it somewhere else, it seems like maybe it's flat out crazy to add your money up in the sense like, what could I by for my PC with this, instead of, I might buy something in the real world...lol
