Former Wallaby Lote Tuqiri has been named as the man involved in a scandalous affair with an Irish TV starlet.
It is believed Tuqiri has flown back to Australia to rescue his marriage with wife, Rebekka, after news of his infidelity with Dr Danielle Meagher.
Known as ‘Dr Botox’, the Dublin Wives star told News Ltd she was unaware the rugby league and rugby union player was married.
"I did not know this man was married, I'm shocked, saddened and disappointed. I have no further comment," Meagher said.
The father of two who played a handful of games for Leinster Rugby this year, was reportedly involved in an affair with Meagher for a month, after meeting in a nightclub in Dublin.
Meagher only found out he was married with children last week.
"Danielle is a true professional and had no idea he was married until last week," a friend of Meagher told News Ltd.
"She didn't know who he was when they met.
"Danielle isn't a party girl. He was a complete gentleman at first.”
"He told her he was going to fall hard for her and she told him to relax, there are worse things in life than two people being in love and falling for each other. But then he told her he has a wife."
Tuqiri refused to respond to media on the subject.

From the RLW_Mole a short time ago on twitter:

BREAKING: Moley hears shyt will finally hit the fan with ASADA to charge one coach and dozens of players on WEDNESDAY... #nonames

Pretty sure his exit from Rugby had something to do with "extra marital activities" as well....
certainly did....
Below is from a friend

"He is a serial pants man away from home. Never has he been in one of my pubs without getting mobiles of staff members and pestering them all night. The wife must have been in denial since the last Wallabies issues"

So if any of you guys are trying to get his elusive signature, Then try dressing up as a pretty Women, Maybe one of the sig pigs here could give it a go??????

We have an unfair advantage over the other 15 clubs because our players are able to get massive dollars in 3rd party endorsements that don't come under the cap. A player like Smith could make a fortune on 3rd party deals in Brisbane and could end up making easy over a mil a year and only have 700,000k or 800,000k under the actual cap.

Wouldn't read to much into the rumor though. He doesn't get back from London till tomorrow so I doubt his signed anything.

In the rules of the salary cap in relation to 3rd party agreements "these agreements may not be negotiated by the club as an incentive for a player to sign a contract, nor can they be guaranteed by the club."

They can use the "marquee players allowance" up to an amount of $550k which is outside the cap (usually spread amongst several players though)

I think we all know that those rules are blatantly Broken by all clubs.

How can the NRL prove that the club itself set up the 3rd party deals. In short they cant.

Fergo's court case today. The Dugan is a witness

@rachelolding: Court hears that Blake Ferguson apologised to a friend of the alleged victim of nightclub indecent assault: "I didn't mean it".

Fair result, good to see the presiding Magistrate saw through his BS defence.

Sentencing next year, doubt he will do time but can't see him in the NRL for a while

Wait... So he supposedly "touched her upper thigh", (could be a simple as put her arm around her from behind, thinking she was someone else, as it doesn't specify inner or outer thigh), and you want him to do JAIL TIME for that??? My lord, some of you guys need to go to a pub on Thursday, Friday or Saturday arvo/evenings: arse-slaps/motorboats GALORE on the raffle-girls there! Do they scream "sexual assault" there? Hell, I've been pinched on the arse PLENTY of times by a girl who may or may not have a few too many under her belt for the evening, "apparently" I'm the victim of several sexual assaults, I should've picked up on it sooner... He admitted he was wrong, he apologised, and said he thought she was someone else. Alcohol, hormones, loud music are rarely a mixture for good judgement, but who goes out to a night club thinking: "Gee, I'm gonna be responsible tonight..." I know I sure as hell don't...

You know who/what kind of people SHOULD be going to jail, and for a LONG time, is people like that twat in Brisbane who just went out 1 night determined to "kill someone", and ended up belting that korean girl to death! But no doubt he'll get declared unfit to face trial, will do a bit of time in some mental health clinic, some psycologist will tell a court how he "wasnt hugged enough", and people will forget him soon enough. A footballer puts his arm around a girl at a bar? Lock him up and throw away the key! Now IF things DID happen differently, and he pinned her up against the wall/saw her front-on, then fair enough, I agree. But the "crime" that has been ESTABLISHED seems to hardly warrant the outcome people seem to be calling for... Just my 2 cents.
