When Panini America’s 2013-14 Timeless Treasures Basketball releases one week from today, longtime lovers of the brand will no doubt detect many new tweaks. Some of the adjustments fans will be able to see, others they’ll be able to see through. Clearly, this is a different Timeless Treasures — both in look and in feel.

The packaging is new. The designs are new (yet still deftly manage to deliver the classic Timeless Treasures vibe). The must-see Rookie Cards are new. But amid all that newness, 2013-14 Timeless Treasures Basketball remains committed to offering its trademark selection of all-time greats, current legends and the hottest rookies in a compelling, compact package.

Most collectors likely will find the acetate-aided autograph memorabilia Rookie Cards to be the most intriguing new developments in the product — and that’s hard to argue once you see them. But there’s something really cool about the Three Piece Puzzle inserts, too. Heck, there’s something really cool about a lot of what you’re about to see. So I’ll stop creating descriptions and let you check out the massive Quality Control Gallery for yourself.

Enjoy the sneak peek and stay tuned to The Knight’s Lance for continued coverage of 2013-14 Timeless Treasures Basketball.

The rookie cards look great EXCEPT for that stupid piece of jersey they are insisting on putting on everything. Will probably chase the set of these though :P

Always a sucker for the 3 diecut cards that fit together and spell something as well

Maybe a couple of set chases coming up

Im a bit disappointed they took out the tin packaging, the best part of TT

But the designs look a lot better this year, especially the Every Player Every Game which resembles the Limited Logo cards quite a bit

There are a few nice sets in this product.. it would be a real tough chase on the EPEG primes.

I like the multiple player 'jigsaw' like cards, but it appears that the Mullins one isn't cut right to fit in flush.. probably happen a lot with that set.. gives ultra-pro another hard-case to design to make more $... smh
