ESP Limited Edition 2013 (Info Updated 04/10/13)

So the 2013 LE cards from ESP have been released and are available from Ikon. Unfortunately you have to purchase a case of 2012 LE cards to get the 33 card 2013 LE set. Anyone else think these are not going to sell out and according to OZCARD logic when the dealers get the sets and are lucky enough to say sell a case of 2012 LE even at a discounted price should they be expected to give away the 2013 LE set also..............lol

Dave are you sure you haven't got the deal backwards. If you buy a 2013 LE set you get a case of 2012 LE free

Sweet can't wait I'm going to buy 10

Hey whens the Auction for the #1 Elite cards? Didn't they say it will be at the end of November?

A very desperate attempt to sell unwanted stock...... I bet ikon has been on esp back to find a way to move the stock.
I guess this is the idea they came up with.

Another interesting thought is that with Elite Sigs you are flatout getting 100 dollars now for a card numbered to 130......a card numbered to 167 is going to be a tuff sell.........:) So lets do the math, just under a grand for a 2012 LE case and a free 2013 LE set. Even if you sell the 2012 LE case for 750 who is going to pay nearly 300 for a 33 card set that has 1 sig......and Terry from ESP mentioned last year (when we were still talking) that these LE sets should fetch between 500 - 700 bills................LMFAO

If it's a grand for a case of 2012 LE ... I really can't see who is going to purchase this 2013 set. They may never see the light of day!

Haha esp are a f....... Joke I so wish not only myself as a collector but everyone out there would stop buying cards so they realize how dumb they really are? It's getting worse every time I here something new about any cards and sets that are being released

Its going to be a tough sell all right, the less you charge for the 2012 LE means the more you have to charge for the 2013 LE to break even or turn a small profit.

In years to come ESP products are going to be worth next to nothing. The resale price on any of there stuff just keeps falling. I mean say what you want about the Steve Wang/JHL partnership with Select, the value of their product only increases in most cases.

Count me out. My money is tied up buying Christmas presents for my kids.

Crazy to be doing this in the quietest time of year for trading cards and only 2 and a bit weeks out from Christmas.

Have to say I agree with you.... All my money will be tied up in Christmas...

So true, its a very bad time to release a new series of cards with less than 4 weeks to Xmas, let alone a series where you have to make a bad investment, imo, in 2012 LE just to get the 2013.

I disagree with the Price Dropping...
It is dropping simply because the market overall is down.
I only buy Tigers Cards, So i'll base my example on that.

you can't get a (1/260) Benji Marshall Future Force for under $150 8 years on!!
- Most other 2005 FF's are around the $50 mark.

You can't tell me that, in 5-10 years a 1/130 Benji Marshall sig card (His last...) is going to be worth $100 that they are going for now or Less... I can't see it happening, but that time time the next wave of collectors will be coming through!! Those 2013 Sig cards will be worth a Motza!!
- Same with the Rookies... Those kids could be anyone!! The next Lockyer could be amongst them.... And there is only 105 cards!! Time will tell with the Rookies, But the superstars (The real ones Like Slater, Inglis, Marshall etc) will only go up!! You're probably right on the hacks Shillo and the likes won't be worth a toss....

Honestly I think the market has been overvalued for quite some time. The $600 you'd get for one of the Select /100 signature cards in their series two releases was crazy money.

I do agree that the Elite sigs will increase in value over time. I think ... not 100% sure though ...
