While I am on a mailday roll, thought id post up the Four sports autos that I have been collecting as a side PC.
I love the look of these cards and although they are highly numbered, they were some of the first lot of cards I busted open when I started collecting just shy of the '92 draft.
Anyway, I managed to pick up all the basketball ones besides Shaq. I think I realise that will always be out of my reach but you never know.
Anyway, here they are, in the 1992 Draft Order
Drafted No. 1 Shaquille O'Neal (with friends )
Taken at No.2, Mr Alonzo Mourning
3rd pick in the '92 draft, Christian Laettner (this card still tends to fetch a good price - over BV)
Shame the auto is mainly on black
I liked this guy's game, mainly cause he teamed up with JKidd and Mash for a short time in Dallas, but at No. 4 Jimmy Jackson
One of the many guys from the same draft who managed to squeeze 10 years or more from his NBA career, taken with the 7th pick, Walt Williams
No. 8 - Todd Day
This guy was a steal at No 9 - Mr Clarence Weatherspoon
At No.10 Adam Keefe... nuff said
Another one that still fetches very good $ as he didn't sign a lot. Well he signed 1475 of these! H.Miner
Malik Sealy was taken with the 14th pick in the '92 draft. Tragically died in a car accident in the year 2000 from a drunk driver. As many of you would know, KG is wearing jersey number 2 this year in honour of his good mate
Tracy Murray went at number 18. As a player, not sure I would want a picture of me on the sidelines for a trading card!
Another UCLA Alumni, taken straight after his team mate at No19, Don Maclean
Finally at No23 in the draft, Lee Mayberry
Will keep trying to track down the Shaq but not hopeful of finding one that I can afford
Cheers
