Authentic 1963 Michael Jordan Official Birth Certificate. This is the earliest piece of Jordan memorabilia that exists, the official "Certificate of Birth" to document the arrival of an eight pound three ounce boy named "Michael Jeffrey Jordan." The document names "James Jordan," a twenty-five year old delivery man as the father, and "Delores Peoples" as the twenty-one year old mother. The duration of labor is listed on verso is over fourteen hours, but well worth it. Now a decade into his retirement, Jordan is still considered the greatest of all time. But the greatest Jordan collector on Earth? That's still up for debate. The dcument measures approximately 7x8", with a rough left edge with a small tear, though these issues cause no significant distraction.

After receiving numerous bids and attention, this item eventually sold for $26,290 at a Heritage auction back in August. The sale was cancelled however because the buyer was unresponsive. We are now attempting to sell this via ebay, at a price less than what was realized at the auction. This item is one-of-a-kind. Signed Jordan sneakers and other MJ memorabilia are a dime a dozen. If you purchase this, you will be the only collector to be able to say owns this piece of Jordan.
