What Are You Watching On Ebay?

Think I just got scammed on eBay.
I was chasing this;

The other guy that lost the item to me has 89% (50) of his bids on the same seller. 56 bids across 24 items.

Seems a little bit suss. Comments anyone?

I suppose 6 of those bids were on the same item I was chasing. So I suppose that evens out across 24 items. Perhaps he was just really chasing the Kemp also. :cool:

I don't even bother looking at other bidders anymore as everything looks sus these days and it just does my head in thinking about it. I'll put a bid in for what I'm willing to pay and let it ride, if I win it for what I was willing to pay or less sweet.
There's no point stressing over what else is going on just bid what you want and be done with it ;)

Good way to look at it...

As for the figures of bid activity with this seller etc... they are only a 30 day average...
these can always look suss, for example..
I may not bid on anything for a while (weeks/months) then all of a sudden see a card pop up i need/want, while i am at it i always look at the other items the seller has and often try win some of those cheap and save postage.
so my stats sometimes with some sellers would be worse than the one discussed here..
but atm this is the stats for an item i just won

Yes, his 30 day summary is 50 out of 56 bids on 24 of that sellers items. Over 30 days, it seems very odd.

Nothing I can do about it now ofcourse. Its all done and paid for.

If only I could check out what other items this dude has won. Cause If he isnt set chasing 14k Mem primes or any Kemp stuff, then theres no way he legitimatly went after this card.:rolleyes:
