Sweet!! thanks mate. So they wont just turn too shit for me in 5 years time and all my $$ gone down the toilet??On the question of shoes going funny. From my experience, rarely. If they are kept wrapped in the original paper packaging inside the box and kept at normal room temps and normal humidity, they will be fine. Sometimes if they are clear soles, they can go a bit off color. The older pre 2000's shoes did have a little discolor after 5+ years, but this is only predominantly with white material parts turning an off-white.
And I can only say this with the 200 or so pairs I've had, all different brands and this is over a 20 year period. Shoe tech has advanced a long ways in that time, so the stuff produced nowadays should be good for 10yrs atleast. well IMO anyways.
Theres heaps of good shoe sites to get your info from. One of my faves: solecollector.com
