The latest I'm hearing is he's fighting on the undercard of his cousin's fight against Sugar Shane Moseley, I wonder what sort of Neville they will match him with?.

It was a bit like the old you can’t fire me because I quit scenario.

His manager said this morning that he was going to take up the clause but the Raiders board sacked him first as the clause couldn't be exercised until 1st November.

And no surprise that his new manager is none other then the Sam Ayoub

St George Illawarra Dragons utility Matt Prior admits he will cherish his final opportunity to don the famous Red V jersey against the New Zealand Warriors at WIN Stadium, Wollongong on Saturday.
The Thirroul Butchers junior is expected to make his 120th and final first-grade appearance for the Dragons before preparing for the next chapter in his rugby league career.
Prior, 26, made his debut for the Dragons in the fifth round of the 2008 campaign against the North Queensland Warriors at WIN Stadium, Wollongong and has notched eight tries to date.
The local junior has won both a Premiership (2010) and World Club Challenge (2011) as well as earning selection to the NSW Country Origin squad (2011).
“It will be a strange feeling representing the team knowing it will be the last time doing that wearing the Red V jersey,” said Prior.
“The Club has provided me with so many great memories over the years with the most notable being the Premiership victory in 2010 – that’s something I’ll always remember.
“I’ve met some great friends here and I want to finish the season on a high being on the field with all of them.
“There are several different pathways that lie ahead for me for next season but at the moment it’s all about making sure we try our hardest on the field against the Warriors.
“We’ve had a good record playing down here against them in the past but know they’ll be raring to give it their all and try and cement a spot in the finals.”

i dont think so. they cant do it to him now after not doing to the others. if a precedent was set before then i agree. but since it hasnt been, then so be it. its wrong but they cant just chop n change, they should come out and say the next person do the same thing or whatever, but they just cant go an make an example out of him.

I see your point but Carney got sacked, de-registered and thrown out of the game for a season. I agree it has to be a case by case basis but they have to start somewhere. He has been given everything at Canberra and has just thrown it back in their face, it would be a joke if he turns out for another club next year. If he is convicted of the indecent assault the NRL will not have a choice but to de-registered him for a lengthy period

that's why the Tigers could play the u/20's players but the Raiders can't...

i feel your pain, in saying that its raiders every time something like this happens, but they were just my thoughts, id love someone to interview one of the 3 and ask why they all cant stand it down there in the nations capital.

see what you mean, im assuming your a bit disgruntled as it caused the loss to the dragons ahah. but that game had no effect on either teams season. if the sharks lose as a result of cornish they cant get that 5th spot, so there season is still affected.

in saying that, the more i try and explain myself here the more i agree with you, that was just wrong. but they didnt let him play against the rabbits the following week, so i see why cornish wasnt allowed.

I don't have a problem with an 18yo playing against us, whether we lost or won my opinion would still be the same, my problem is that there is no consistency with what the NRL do, you set up rules/policy or whatever you want to call it and then change it , its irrelevant that Tigers/Dragons cant make the 8, your club has to manage through the whole year with injuries/suspensions/players out of form and pick the best available players from the squad without going over the salary cap, its all part of the game...

You must be clutching at straws to think that Luke Brooks won the game against your side on his own, yes he had a fine debut but realistically your side is a 'little' worse than ours, what's really embarrassing is that both clubs have been beaten by Parramatta in recent weeks after having seemingly match winning leads!.
