Team list is up guys. I know one OZCT member who is going to be hated this evening....

Team List

Our method for team assignment gets questioned every now and then but I'd like to show the following table - which I think supports why we like it.

Angpin Lakers 1
Angpin Cavs 2
Jason Trailblazers 3
Tekk Thunder 3
Angpin Pelicans 3
Tekk Clippers 4
Cardcookie Warriors 4
Damien Heat 1
Brentus Pistons 4
GlennM Celtics 1
Mp2Marti Spurs 2
Cardcookie Rockets 6
Tekk Bulls 7
Damien Pacers 7
Brentus Bobcats 6

Thats all the spots, and you will see 'most' people get a first pick in their top 5 teams, even spot 15 gets their 6th favourite team.

Personally, thats what we really get excited about here at Cherry.. what's in the case, well we can't control that bit! But this method sure beats selling individual teams imo AND its so quick to compile :)

Hi Mate

Out of interests sake (and for other members who are unaware) How do you go about selection/randomising/order of your 30 spots? Is it random? Do people submit a list of 30 teams in order?

Cheers, - just considering purchasing one of your final 2-3 slots in case 2.

Hey Banzini,

So once all spots are filled, we ask for payment and team preference lists. Those lists may be all 30 teams in order of preference or just Celtics first then i don't care, everyone is different.

We put the list of spot owners into random.org and randomize three times, the third time is the final list for the break. If you get pick 1 you also get pick 30, if you get pick 2 you also get pick 29 and so on.

This is all filmed live and recorded.

I then go through the final list and attribute teams based on peoples lists. It's fast, it's fair and it seems to show that people 'more often than not' get a few teams they actually rate highly.

Are the draws broadcast live though? That would ensure 100% transparency, and situations like this wouldnt seem suspicious
 
I personally got pick 7 and 12 and got Warriors and Rockets, I'm stoked with that! (Haven't seen the hits yet) but I think as G said this is the fairest way to do it. Ang just got lucky this time but I don't think anyone should doubt Cherrys honesty or integrity. Can't wait to hear what was broken!
