Who do you think will have a breakout upcoming season?

Traded to a new team and looks like a better situation?

Anyone you seen have a good showing in summer league?

Someone who was playing good at end of last season?

Who?

I think Eric Gordon will have a breakout season with the Pelicans and hopefully Greg Oden can contribute wherever he end ups :)

As for the younger players, Leonard and Barnes will play vital roles in their teams playoff runs (even more vital than last season! :P) and Tobias Harris will post up some big numbers!

In no particular order:

Jordan Crawford - Little bit of a bias choice but he has plenty of potential and will get more playing time this season after 'Jet' leaving.

Tobias Harris - Averaged 23.4 PPG, 9.8 RPG, 3.4 APG in last 5 games last season! :woot:

John Wall - Plenty of potential and Washington must see something big in him with his new 5 year $80 mil contract.

DeMarcus Cousins - Massive potential, hopefully he can get over his attitude problems for his sake and Sacremento's sake!

Jeremy Lamb - Definetely proved himself in the Summer League. With Kevin Martin gone he should get some extra PT!

Derrick Favours - With Big Al and Millsap gone, he and Enes Kanter will be expected to take over there starting roles and prove themselves as starting bigmen!

:)

Watching:

Michael Carter-Williams - 76ers

Kelly Olynyk - Celtics (came out that he has plantar fasciitis so if they are "tanking" and give rookies plenty of minutes I hope that it doesn't get too bad and hinder a long career) Led the NCAA last season in PER.

Andrei Kirilenko - Nets - looks like a very comfortable situation there for him in Brooklyn, a great fit

Jimmy Butler - Bulls - playing great at end of last season, tenacious player

Isaiah Thomas - Kings - little man, great scoring ability

Kent Bazemore - Warriors - interests me what motivates players to succeed, seen he has his ESPN NBA Rank (#499 I think it was) sewn into the insides of his shoes. Little stuff like this makes for great stories if a player has a bust out game/season

Jeremy Lin - Rockets - back from injury, teaming up with Dwight, Harden, Parsons - can't wait to see some Houston games.

John Wall - got his big contract - now what?

Jennings and Smith in Detroit - could create some great opportunities for Andre Drummond.

Austin Rivers/Anthony Davis - Pelicans - interested to see how Tyreke fits in, plus they have some scrappy role guys like Amundson, Anderson, Stiemsma etc

Harrison Barnes - Warriors - guy is a beast.

Greg Oden - this guy deserves some good times

Kyrie - Cavs - love the whole Uncle Drew persona. Hope he gets MVP

Derrick Williams/Rubio/Pekovic - Timberwolves

Kevin Garnett - OBVIOUSLY! :D

Ok! Yes, I'm pumped about the whole league!!

I'm gunna stick with a big man theme and I think vucevic will come along nicely and put in a good year following on from last season and so will valanciunas with the raptors seen as he's the only REAL big man on that team

Tyreke, Gordon, Rivers, Jrue, Roger Mason Jr, Morrow - decent on paper at the G positions!

I'm just going to go ahead and say the whole Orlando magic team, from 1-15!! Hell even their coaching staff, probably the ball boy too will have a break out season, they have some good young talent just sitting there!!!

Some promising guys but man that'd be a hard team to sell season tickets for!
