How good is the NRL in that you can be a wooden spoon contender but still have a great season...........beating the teams that matter.

As a dragons fan each year we need to win the local derby against Cronulla (tick) our rivals Souths (tick) and the St George old boys Newcastle (tick)

Job done. =D>

and maybe even bag a wooden spoon in the process ;) ahah

as a lover of the game, was great watching that game unfold tonight. but as one of the keenest supercoaches going it was just shit. and thats the only word that comes to mind for it.

Tonight is the first time in my life I've ever put money on St George to win. $7.10 odds were to good to pass up.

Why didn't I put the C on Merrin.......

I'm pretty confident the Eels are going to go back to back on the spoon. Like any Dragons fanatic I am now eyeing of a top 8 spot.

It sucks to see Dugan play so well!

With the way Canberra are travelling this year and the dragons form last night I think Saturday night will be a very hard game

Last night was a cracking match. Sorry to lose it but Saints were bristling with intent and fizzing in the backs.

Seriously, they had nothing to lose AND they were playing the top table team.

Souths bombed a few opps, though that said, Saints had a couple held up, etc.

Overall, was a great night out. The only downer, other than the scoreboard for us Bunnies fans was seeing Matt Cooper hobbling off. Didn't look good.

Without a contract for next year it could be a very sad end for a Dragon great

In all honesty he should have retired last year, in saying that has been brilliant for the club and without doubt one of the best defensive centre's the club has produced....

Matt Cooper has been a great servant.

Unfortunately Father Time has crept up on him with his run of injuries.

I'd put a few in that boat including Knights- K Gidley, Buderus.

Dallas Johnson has seen the light.

Can't fault any of these players commitment to the game over the years.

Agreed, the kind of club players you can build a team around. Tough & loyal and give 110% every week
