2013 ESP Elite NRL Cards Thread (Updated 5/8/13)

my money would be on a Morris sig

Both Moz Broz have had sigs in Red & White, but that might not matter, which I think is a real shame. I agree that we need some new siggers (I made a new word).:D
I'm a bit disappointed with the Barba selection too. He is the Dally M medallist after all, but he's also featured before. Unfortunately the people that make these decisions don't much care for the opinions of the collector / customer.
Not another dig at ESP, Select were no better. T Rex had 2 sigs in 3 years for example.
Anyway, gunna get 2 boxes and hope for the best.;)

AHAHA cronks no chance, he hates signing anything. i dont think he'd even care if he got paid to do it. he still wouldnt sign

A lot of the thoughts are based on conjecture, that is that we are looking at either a sig or a F&F Gold in each box, what if that isn't the case and boxes have multiple and some have none.......that would ruin a lot of days.

That would just about do me. I copped that rubbish with that horrible Cricket release last year (worst set of any kind in living memory).

I don't think ESP would factor in who Select have gotten to sign in the past when they are proposing signature lists. As far as they are concerned it would be Barba's first Sig with them, Morris's first Sig etc etc

Absolutely correct, just speaking from the collectors' point of view, which doesn't seem to matter. :(
All negativity aside, this set (as it appears at this time and despite the mystery checklist) looks like a massive improvement on ESP's behalf. Not that they had much to beat. All negativity aside.

We whinged.. They stepped it up a few notches.. I call that success.. In two weeks no one will care that there wasn't a checklist......

I haven't had a look at anything to do with this set until yesterday... And I'm impressed.... Looking forward to the bust!!

So it was confirmed the Smith/Gallen cards are parallels of the case cards, so we can assume the case cards are identical just not all shiny and stuff.

Hope they are numbered.

No chance of them being Numbered if they won't number cards that are only ---/150 & secondly that will give away how many cases they made & we know ESP like smoke screens & mirrors

Just leave the Timmy G Sig #10/130 to me....please! Lol

I think the good Doctor is right they wont be numbered They have not numbered them in the past........ So i think your timmy .G #10 will be Safe from me anyway.
The League sensations i will be after all the #99
Also after Strike TP #99 if anyone has that number.

Does anyone know if these are going to be available in newsagents etc.?

I believe so mate, maybe not as wide spread as Traders though.

As for the numbering I thought it was confirmed all signature cards were foil stamp numbered, has anyone heard different?

Yep, the two signature series of cards are numbered, doesn't look like any others are.
