Sorry to hear that bro, had a similar experience too.

The other problem with the hobby was the sudden flooding of the market with nash and iverson autos. Because they didnt sign much, their autos had some value, now there worth as much as your average auto. Lets hope they don't do the same with Duncan's and Dirk's autos.

yeah not a huge fan of timmys but a dirk auto would be nice pc additon

cheers

There are only a few dirk autos out there, it would be nice to have one in my pc, but i dont wanna see the market flooded with them, and become dirt cheap like iverson autos....

1. People who fudge up cards

2. Not sure if this is technically a hobby thing, but International shipping to OZ for cards is $20 registered or nothing.

I think the fleer bankrupcy played a big part in that! On the other hand, there are plenty of morons out there who don't need help to screw up nice cards!

Very true, but Exquisite as well.

Let's all make our Wade RC patches better.....

Yeah seen an abundance of 3 colour wade patches pop up when he started seeing up arrows!

I was also reading on beckett about a particular seller (also beckett member) who was changing his livingston patches to 3 coloured ones to increse his $ value...

Thats not the hobby, thats morons on ebay! :p

It's just the bad buyers out there that muck around with these sellers and ruin it for the majority of good people out there.

But once you talk to them (well most nowadays) and say checl my feedback, I'll pay regeistered, why would I steal your $10 base card, when I drop hundreds on others etc etc they soon change their mind of shipping.

I even had one guy tell me yesterday, that he charges all international people $20 registered shipping now, but I am the only exception :-)

A lot of them are forced though to ship at int reg post global priority which does cost $20+ to protect themselves agains bogus paypal claims, which you cant blame them for doing....

Yeah, I know. I told the guy, this is why I will be forgoing the really hard sets in the future.

Because serisouly, $20 for a $10 card, you might as well not list internationally.
