Simona has had 3 years in first grade and only now do a few people know his name... From performances on the WING!!
Problem is...
His preferred position is centre, And he goes OK there... In Ressies....
But he is too small for a first grade centre and won't handle the extra work in D.
IF (And I say if as I'm hearing it's far from done..) The Sharks are buying him for a Centre, They will be no better off than where they are now!!

That's the latest whisper Shane, But I think they're released Pettybourne because he has been Bog Useless and they need some Props.

Nofoaluma still qualifies for a couple years in 20's, That should mean Simona could be kept.
TBH he aint done much in 3 years, I'd be happy to see him offered a better opportunity at the Sharks!!

beau ryan is quality. i dont watch the sharks much but a game i watched a couple weeks ago when he played fullback, he was the best on ground, made over 200 metres. was killing it running from dummy half.

I agree that if he has to go, so be it. I can remember not being terribly impressed by him over the past few years when he has gotten chances but he has certainly killed it since the Penrith game. At the end of the day we can't keep them all and i'm very happy with Koro and Nofo...and we've already signed Patty Richards for some experience too. If Simona was offered a long term contract based off performances these past few weeks he'd be crazy not to take it.

hamstring strain, good chance he will be back this weekend but not 100%

I need 3 sets of hands to count how many games he single handedly lost us!!
Last year was the only decent year he'd had from 2007!!
This year he's going OK as well... Don't take away 5 years of the rubbish he dished up!!
You know your opposition is useless when you have B Ryan making metres!! Wasn't that long ago, They had a stat on him...
Was the ONLY winger in the comp (Including fill ins and all) That didn't have 1 line break next to his name for the season!!

I didn't think too much when the sharks signed him but he has had some decent games this year.

i think he adds more to the team in other ways
