What also would be nice is a jump back to 2005 where we saw a signed case card from Select. That would be interesting. Nobody has mentioned yet I think that the predictor type card is gonski, not sure what to think about that idea, that is whether it is a good thing or a bad thing.

I was also thinking today about whether to buy into case shares or just get a case. Most people buy into shares for the chance to get the significant case hit (redemption), it seems that if the hype about this series as far as either a sig or a gold in each box is true then there is no real benefit to a share.........just a few random thoughts for the day.

I agree on the point about the case shares, the main drawcard was a fair go at the case hit, which isnt an issue with this release.

Signature case cards, yes please!

And i miss the predictors, hopefully they make a return, but in a different format (more rare maybe, redeem for something different)

So many possibilities on the horizon.

OH, and numbering any card thats limited to a few hundred or less, not just the sigs, eg the Fast and Furious from the Elite set.

At least by buying the case you will get all the hits regardless how they collate them.. ie: no disappointments on getting a dud box.

That's what I am thinking George...........the stuff I don't want ie sensation sigs or future stars is good trade bait to finish stuff in this set or stuff from earlier sets.

Yes always 50 i think, and we got them once in 2005 with the Willie Mason case card.

i think your undervaluing the sigs. if the young guns go for 200 or even 150 on average. these league sensations should go for alot more. time will tell though

Looks like there will be a pretty good list of players. I reckon they will price pretty nicely. Looking forward to seeing the whole checklist though.

these are my guesses although Im usually crap at this.

Gallen $300-$400
Slater $400-$500
Prince $5 maybe $10. nah $250
Grant $200
Johnson $200

these guesses are for average numbers, and for the first month I would say
