SPURS V HEAT *SPOILERS*

On paper, Amare and Carmelo were going to be the unstoppable front court for the knicks. On paper, Nash, Kobe and Dwight were supposed to be the new Big Three for the Lakers. Not everything turns out as it should on paper so while Bosh may appear to be the chink in the armour, Spoz often refers to him as the Heats most important player because he makes their system work by stretching the floor and gives them opportunities to penetrate.

I totally agree.

I don't like Bosh at all but just like Chalmers he's a big game player.

T.D took him to school the other night but Duncan has done that to plenty of guys over the years.

To say Al. Jeff is better than Bosh is laughable. Bosh took a terrible Toronto team to 4th place one year, Al Jeff has done what???

16 mill is a crazy amount of money though. He'll get that money and maybe more if he left anyways.

Never said Jefferson was better than Bosh! I said he would suit Miami better while still being able to spend a s***load of cash on top of Chalmers' salary to upgrade the PG position! ;)

Jefferson can stretch the floor, post up and defend players like Duncan for a lot less money than Bosh is costing!

Yeah not gonna happen. I'd take Bosh and Chalmers over Al. Jeff and any PG out of the top 10 in the League.

Chalmers can be inconsistent but he hits big shots and steps up when he needs to, he's a winner.

Can't believe some of you are suggesting "blowing up" a team that has been to the Finals 3 years in a row and possibly 2 Championships in a row. Wade desperately needs some rest and to get his knees right. Bosh is a little soft but he is not a centre, yet he plays there week in, week out. Miami need a true Centre to allow Bosh to play his true position at PF. Maybe Oden might come good and come to Miami....and the Dynasty will continue!!!
C'mon guys, think about what your suggesting :(

The current salary cap is $70mil and the Heat are at $85mil, meaning they paid $15 mil in luxury tax to the NBA this year ($1 for every $1 over the cap)

As of 13-14, the tax will increase to:

$1.50 for every $1 if you are up to $5mil over
$1.75 for ever $1 if you are between $5m and $10m over
$2.50 for every $1 of you are $10m to $15m over
$3.25 for every $1 if you are $15 to $20m over

Which means the Heat (who will be at $86mil + next year) need to either move one of the big 3 for a cheaper option or sign a whole lot of players at the vet minimum!
Just with the big 3 and Mike Miller alone, they are at $66mil for next year!

Hence the reason Al Jefferson look appealing!

Can't wait for game 7...

Here's another look at Ray Allen's 3!!!
