US Wedding and Holiday

So in around 5-6 weeks my beautiful girl and myself will be jetting off to USA.

Few nights in LA, then Vegas where we are getting married followed by visiting Chicago and the National Convention onto NYC then Dallas and back to Hollywood for a few days at the end.

Going to be a dream holiday.

Any tips on anyone that has been to US would be much appreciated especially these cities. Staying in Hollywood on both times in LA.

Looking at stubhub for a purchase of a LA Dodgers game, if I wanted to buy tickets on stubhub where would I get the tickets sent? Direct to my hotel etc?

Will also be listing some single cards to sell off over the coming weeks to help fund spending money for US and def National Convention

You must have an awesome travel agent to hook you up with that.

As for the actual question, When you buy off StubHub you can opt to purchase tickets that can be delivered via what they call "e-delivery" and the purchased tickets just show up in your StubHub account where you can print them off. That's how I usually do it, rather than organising them to be delivered to your hotel and hoping they get there the right day.

Brett, a Few suggestions for NYC are:

Take a walk over the Brooklyn bridge . You catch the train out and then walk back over the bridge to NYC
Go to the top of the Rockefeller centre, gives you an awesome view of the Empire state building
If you intend to do the Empire State building and the Rockefeller centre then buy the tickets online before you leave and avoid lining up
Check out the Sports Museum of America

As for the tickets when we have purchased for sports events in the US we have chosen the "will call" option, this allows you to collect the tickets from the stadium. Most of the stadiums have ticket vending machines where you just insert the credit card that you used to pay for the tickets and the tickets are issued on the spot

Also why not just buy the tickets through ticketmaster.com

Thanks mate have Brooklyn and Rockefeller high on the list Yeah looking at ticketmaster now and looking at a family option where you get decent seats plus a food option thrown in

I did LA/Vegas/SF in 2012 and NYC 2 months ago.....
In NYC grab a 7 day subway pass for $30......it's unlimited rides for a week.....their subway system is an amazing way to get around!
Get a newyorkpass.com .....if you intend on visiting a few touristy places or doing tours it is well worth it. (Circle Line Boat Tours give an amazing perspective of the city and a close-up view of the Statue of Liberty...it's included in the pass)
The Food on Foot tour was awesome (also included in the New York Pass)...do it early on your trip....take notes on the places the guide recommends....you will eat the best food at bargain prices!! You have to go to Katz's Deli and have pastrami on rye and corned beef on rye sandwiches!!!!
Go to FAO Schwarz and make your own Muppet!
There's so much to do and see in NYC.....you'll love it! (I did if you can't tell!)

In LA visit the Farmer's Market and The Grange (West Hollywood).....I went to a taping of the Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson.....I got free tickets online.....you could do the same in NYC with Lettermen or Kimmel if you're interested.

In Vegas see everything....the casinos/hotels are amazing enough on their own!! Google "what's on in Vegas" and see who's playing while you're there.....book tickets beforehand or wait till you get there and you can often pick up cheap tix for that night.....there's quite a few places that sell them along the strip.

There's heaps more I haven't mentioned.....it all depends on what you're interested in.....check out Tripadvisor....it very rarely steers me wrong for places to stay, eat or visit!

Oh and if you go to Madison Square Garden for anything you'll need your Passport to buy alcohol....a licence is not enough for them! Only place I encountered it though.
