2013 ESP Elite NRL Cards Thread (Updated 5/8/13)

I am not so sure mate, I think they have done a large enough insert set for this release. We are looking at 32 signature cards (assuming 16 & 16) that are going to be expensive to collect. We are not going to see Future Stars going for 30 - 50 dollars.....as for the other inserts we are looking at over 100 to collect (depending on how many Test etc) which is a lot. Now the lack of super high end stuff is understandable if there is the high end release later in the year.

I was saying the triple threats was a larger insert set (49) cards which is something they have lacked in previous sets...happy to see them make that inclusion

Here it's clear Shaun Johnson has signed 180 Cards, But there are only 130 released???
That leaves 50 for replacements....
ESP can't trust the packers too much if there are planning on 1/3ish to need replacing???

25 player cards, 25 replacements ... doesn't seem excessive to me.

So for a titans collector im guessing around 19 cards


So titans base set, - about 12 cards

(Guessing they fetch around $200-$250 each)
Future Stars Sig [ltd to 105] - 1 card
League sensation [ltd to 130] - 1 card
Fast & Furious Gold [ltd to 130] - 1 card

(Guessing they fetch around $100-$150 each)
Fast & Furious [ltd to 395] - 1 card
triple threat sub-set [ltd to 525] - 3 cards

(Guessing they fetch around $30-$50 each)
2012 representative [ltd to 700] - 0 (i recall no titans playing in the test series last year if test only and not origin)

So potentially around $1000 worth of cards if not box busting.

Unless im completely off haha which i usually am

Each pack will contain 9 cards with 24 packs per box

1) Future Stars
· Gold Foil stamped and personally signed by the player
· Each Card individually foil numbered and NRL authenticated (individual hologram)
· Limited in Edition to 105 per player
20 in the set. 1 per 72 packets.

2) 2012 Australian Representative
· Printed on gold foil board with silver hot foil stamping
· Limited in Edition to 700 per player
18 in the set. 1 per 12 packets.

3) Fast and the Furious
· 2 Players per card – Double sided.
· Printed on Silver board – 2 sides!
· Limited in Edition to 395 per team
16 in the set. 1 per 24 packets.

4) Fast and Furious - GOLD
· 2 Player per card – Double sided.
· Printed on Goldboard – 2 sides!!
· Limited in Edition to 130 per team
16 in the set. 1 per 72 packets.

5) Triple Threat
· 3 Players per team
· Limited in Edition to 525 per player
48 in the set. 1 per 6 packets.

6) League Sensations
· Gold Foil stamped and personally signed by the player
· Each Card individually foil numbered and NRL authenticated (individual hologram)
· Limited in Edition to 130 per player
16 in the set. 1 per 72 packets.

So assuming 1 per team, 4 teams get 2 More than likely bigger teams like Storm etc over the titans. Hopefully though cause 7 inserts will be enough for me to chase on a tight budget lol
