Al Box Breaks Group

Yes, not all that hard to do, but it is a time killer and I can't really see anyone doing it unless they make some kind of a profit out of it. Being that none of us have access to the dealer type pricing and free freight they get in the US and take in to account that we'd have to pay two lots of shipping (to Aus and to the share buyer) , it'd mean that the share price would have to increase. Add to that the danger that who ever is running it is pretty likely to get lumped with slots if people pull out or disappear (which had happened both times for us) and it becomes a less worthwhile proposition for it to be run locally unless you're a Card shop or big ebay seller or someone who can swallow the cost, risk and time required to do it as part of their business.

exactly, the best way to stop that lumping would be to have everyone pay up before hand. work out the price everyone pays up to cover there percentage and there shipping all before the boxes are ordered,

The ones we have done didn't proceed until all slots had been paid for, but in each case some member(s) have had to take on extra spots to make it happen, otherwise we'd all still be waiting !

Just watched the vid, great fun and I'll bet plenty of excitement for the participants. Like all box breaks there's hits & misses but that's part of the deal. If you hit it big, the buzz lasts for a long time. If you bomb, you straight away start thinking about the next one.
I was very impressed with Gridiron, not so much with Valor.
It sure would be great to get a local break happening. I reckon we could work something out, although agree plenty to be worked out.

also just watched it was very interesting to see how it played out and who got what. Thanks to everyone for helping make
this happern was great fun to be a part of if you need me to be in it would be glad to join in the fun.

Not the best of circumstances, but looking forward to Al's breaks this weekend...just need to figure out what I had shares in !

Got this email from Al today, might be of interest to those who don't get his emails. May be some bargain boxes available after he's done his breaks, might be the chance to do another quick break if members of the past one are up for it ??

All,
Sorry for the ongoing delays in the breakings. I have been very busy with other things and have not had time to dedicate to this. But, I will be breaking most, if not all, team breaks this weekend. Tomorrow I will start with the team breaks that are nearly filled, like....

2012 Triple Threads FB Box
2012 Bowman Sterling BB Box
2012 Supreme FB Box
and others

I will then move on to the ones that still have a good amount of teams left. I will break filled or unfilled, so get them while you can. Please go through the ordering process as normal and I will send you an invoice through paypal. That way it goes into the system for easier compilation later.

After the team breaks are done, I will do all the random breaks. Then I will post all of the product stock that I have for individual breaks until I am out. You will be able to get some good deals. I will likely be lower than all online dealers for the boxes.

Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks as always!

Al
