2 Leaf Metal & 1 Timely Box of Preferred

Swung past our friend Malcolm's yesterday to pick up a couple of boxes of the new Leaf Metal Basketball he had kindly ordered in for me, broke both boxes at the shop alongside Dave and his always insightful commentary
Leaf's latest take on the current chrome resurgence is certainly not a bad break, delivering plenty of solid names and no D-League scrubs !!
5 packs per box, 1 auto & 1 (non-auto) insert per pack.

By then it was the closing minutes of Game 7 (following on the Game Time app), and i'd be remiss not open some NBA licensed product!

Busted a lone box of Preferred and saw a booklet #'d out of 25... Opened up the packs first:

So we take a peek inside the booklet and I reckon this was a most apt pull for that given moment:





#'d 10/25 with some very sweet patches! Nothing huge but I was really happy with it!!

Lastly – conveniently bookending this post - a small preview of an upcoming PATCH-TAG-ular (sorry) mailday...

No problems Adam, I'm probably going to keep the Riley, but perhaps we could put the Robinson & $$ toward your Select KD auto if it's still available? Let me know your thoughts mate!

Intriguingly, there's a partial but clear finger print on the bottom right corner of that card (right on the "..son") - being a chrome on-card auto it may very possibly belong to the Admiral himself... or a faceless Leaf lackey!
