2013 ESP Elite NRL Cards Thread (Updated 5/8/13)

I heard ESP had a 3 year contract...... with a 2 year option if NRL are happy to extend.... So maybe we need to bombard the NRL with our complaints. I've also heard that the NRL can cancle the 3 year deal if ESP don't perform...... ESP

Don't Hold your Breath I've heard they don't give a sh!t about the card side of things They are interested in the other things that this deal has open doors for them......

Maybe we should start a thread on here with the issues members have with ESP and send the link to the NRL. It shouldn't take too long to get a list worth actioning.

i sent back replacement cards 6 weeks ago and i got sick of waiting and emailed asking how the progress was going.and i just happened to put my Address in my email.
i get a reply with some story about the printers holding things up and that cards would be sent that day.
i think they just lost my address.

Ive got a little faith in this next set, Im guessing a few nice cards will come from it, As i only collect Titans i'm sure we wont get too hard done by this time around,

Also thinking a nice SBW Signature Redemption would top the set off

from what i have heard the next set is looking half decent. give them one more chance, if they skrew that up i say we put come sort of online petition together and send it to the nrl to voice our concern.

in saying that if select have completly lost interest, i would rather something than nothing, so i say we tread carefully

the printers hahahaha so that would mean they would be printing extra cards/packs/boxes/cases which means to keep the odds going they would have to print more sig cards etc etc, now the hand written numbers on those Johns and Raper cards look more suss now dont they

Funny you say that- I'm very, very tempted. I still have a handful of Traders packs to wade through and I find it incredibly difficult to work up the enthusiasm to do so. I guess a lot of this comes from cracking the premiership card early and I think the retirements and chart toppers from the box as well.

Having said that, I will still be grabbing a box of their next release just to see what happens. I already skipped the card game thing they did earlier.

This is hilarious, ESP have released two sets that haven't been popular on here (although both have had more sigs than any equivalent Select set ever) - how many crap sets did Select produce? And that's when they actually did release sets, so not 2010 then.

People have very selective (no pun intended) memories, and not a lot of patience.

Have to say the major think I feel that ESP can and will improve on are the odds the cards fall......if they fix that (which i believe they are addressing for the next release) this would go a long way to satisfying a lot of collectors.

So far I have liked the auto cards they have put out.

Well the 2013 NRL Traders Elite will be an interesting and anticipated release that is for sure.

I will buy my standard two boxes. Then if it tickles my fancy i will buy more. Although more often than not it comes down to whether i bang a high end card in those 2 boxes. Bit like a bit of a win on a pokie machine. You think you can do it all the time!! (maybe???) Some sets ive bought no more than the two boxes. Others ive completed more of the set.
