hey all,

$10 a parcel??

is this the norm? says they don't combine parcels into one lot??
got like $30 bucks worth of cards due to send and its gonna cost me another $40 buck on top of the shipping already paid in the USA...

wont be using this again...

I stopped using borderlinx recently.

Had 3 damaged shipments in a row and took 3 mths for their so called insurance agency to settle after myself filling out form after form.

Were getting more and more expensive from about a year ago.

I'm still using them. The average shipment is probably $4-5 each bubble mailer including insurance. I can see where things can go wrong though, got a 'free' 200 BBQ Sauce book last shipment instead of a Luol Deng auto LOL

I hope that wasnt my auto and it better be recoverable lol.

I got 3 cards sent to my borderlinx account, forgot about them. Borderstinks didn't send me a email saying they'd recieved them like the normally do, I get a email 2 months later saying I'm over due and it will cost my $150 to get them shipped or they will sell them.

So they open up your packages and scan them and add them to your COMC account ? And then you can either sell them, they hold onto them, or you can arrange for them to be shipped to you ?

That sounds good.
I'm finding it totally crazy that borderlinx can't put my 4 single card packages into one bag and send it.... Would be less than $20 if they did it way...

Yeah that my understanding graham

The packages go to your mailbox and they charge you $5 every time you get them to open them (so that could be 1 package or 20 packages).

Then you can just get them on sent to here and your only paying the $5 opening fee and the normal postage charges.

You can send an email and dispute this James. Same thing happened to me, I got all my charges waived.

Damn I wish I knew, it's been about 2 weeks now so the cards might be sold. Sucks because all 3 were a rainbow rookie autos of Deon Butler and 2 were jersey numbered

Yeah Borderlinx suck. Shipito seem to have their s*** together at least ...
I build up to 9-10 items with shipito then have them tnt express it. Usually works out to 3 day delivery. Can be a bit exxy depending on your plan but same week delivery and full insurance makes me a happy fellow

I am using the COMC mailbox at the moment... (my last borderlinx order is on the way and then I'm done with them).... COMC just received my first packages and they even send you a pic when they get it (unlike borderlinx) I got sick of Borderlinx/DHL for a number of reasons.... 1) no idea what the cards were or their condition 2) The way they repack.... Had a cpl of cards fall out and if they werent protected well with tape or team bag over top they would have been fucked (including a Vincent Brown /10 Reebok logo/auto National treasures).... DHL is a pain for me as I am never home during office hours and dont really want 20 or so packages going to my work... Last time had to get the missus to go to work late and she was none too happy.. The COMC looks great for case shares as well as they can process the cards and you can just list them for sale at normal fees/processing costs... The savings and possibilities with COMC vs Borderlinx/ship to/$8 intl snail mail are pretty good and may just make up for that falling aussie dollar.... If I have any dramas with this Ill update this thread but for now, so far, so good..

Here is a card that arrived at my COMC today and this is what they attach to the notification.... looks to be a great service

Good stuff. Im in the same boat as you re borderlinx. Only problem I have had so far is that one seller refused to send to COMC because it was a PO Box and they could not get tracking for a PO Box.

Looks like a good service though.
