ONO Inu (insert dkhead icon here)..... CTW will be tough during the byes and fingers crossed Flash can make it through uninjured or there goes another trade, (I'm not confident on him surviving he looks due a break, no pun intended)

At the moment Im getting little chance to do much analysis or plan ahead..... works a bitch at the moment.An hour tonight and an hour Thursday night, nothing Friday so I miss late mail too which has hurt me before.

Rounds 12 / 15 / 18 are going to be crazy ! Its hard to know how many starters I might have because SOO duty / rested post SOO games / Injured / Rookies dropped, crazy but I reckon 7-8 for me for Rnd 12 This bye period will need some balancing not to blow too many trades.

need to get your self a nifty little bye planner ross. i think i have 13 playing round 12, 12 in round 15 and 9 in round 18

so will need to plan my trades over the next few weeks.

i shouldve made two teams, but im in one head to head comp (oct) and one overall. so makes this bye period difficult to get your head around

thats my problem..

im still very within striking distance for overall, but im still in H2H comps..
dilemmas.

have to make some cash this week to spend over the coming weeks to get a few keepers in.. (graham and gallen when he bottoms out at 300k)
 
good point i guess, but i dont consider graham a keeper.

hes good for the bye's but i dont want him after that.

Smith, Farah, Fifita, Burgess, Woods, Merrin and JWH i'd consider the keepers.

then in the 2Row Parker, Sbw, Choch, Gallen,
 
Yeah agreed. Woods and fifita are a little of of range ATM.
Origin is the pits as far as supercoach is concerned.

I need to make about 400k by the end of origin to be in a perfect position by round 18.

That shouldn't be too hard on the back of 3-4 good rookies.
Good news is don is back this week and kahu has large rises left.

Will stay away from Isaac John I think. Tricky price even though he's up for a big rise he offers poor bye coverage and there are still 1-2 good other cheapies to pick up. He's also a risk as I think he's either rocks or diamonds. Ie. 15 or 150.

Not sure on what origin players to trade out for the 5-6 weeks during origin.
Broncos players tend not to back up and Melbourne are hard to pick. Especially given their poor form.

What's your thoughts on benji? He will be about 140k in a week or so. He's generally a 320k players. Not sure wether to take the risk on him.

I need the 4 trades next week to get into a really good position and ill be sweet.
Ill struggle to get the 17 in round 12 I think.
I don't want to blow up my team just to get them as I want to have about 8-10 trades left after origin period is said and done.

was thinking the same thing about issac john, but he got 39 when they vsed melbourne and thats a gun score considering it was 12-10 scoreline with no attacking stats whatsoever.

and they have the tigers in two weeks time which could be a monstrous score, so i might take the punt on him.

benji might be a goodpick up but i wont be touching him, halves are just no good when your teams not winning games.

whats your team value? im on 6,289,000 or there abouts. and have 140k in the bank.

but some people at almost 7 mil its ridiculous

the people that have 7mil, have no trades left. lol

yeah. i think im gunah go down the isaac john path. hopefully he bangs out 2 good weeks and rises to about 220-250k and then i can jump to hayne with dual postion 5/8-HB.

thinking of biting my first origin bullet and axing thurston. BE of 100 and playing bad weeks thru origin, and going to reynolds who has a BE of 3 and plays good weeks thru origin for the same price. plus as you said halves on winning teams = success.


nursing tohu harris, horo, buchanan, and sam rapira thru this week. hopefuly they make their BE so i dont lose any $$ and i can upgrade/downgrade them next weeks to some keepers and some cheapies.

parker got 121, so you cant really complain. but yeah that 114 wouldve been handy vs me last week ahaha.

i think james graham is must this week, i didnt want him but hes beaten woods two weeks in a row. might have jumped woods in the keepers list.
 
121! I didn't see that....was on 97 late last night....great update

I did the same thing in dreamteam and Farah finished on 99 to Parker's 77...hope that gets an update because my eliminator opponent happened to captain Farah
