Phil Jackson's 11 Championship Rings

the 3rd bulls one would have been the best had they used emerald but its just cheap plastic...hence why they tried again with the 6th and absolutely nailed it!!

Can I just recommend to you all if you buy any books, check out booko.com.au it searches all the book sites online and gives you the best prices.

For example Phils's new book is available on pre-order now from Angus & Robertson for $38.99 or shipped from Fishpond (US) for $23.55

Just pre-ordered it from bookdepository.co.uk for $23.87 delivered. They have 14% off it at the moment. Whilst an ebook is instant there is something about opening a new hardback book and sitting down for a read.

That's the sort of sensational excerpts that I'm sure the publisher hopes to drives the sale of this book.. He's stuck it to Kobe in his previous book too. A bit of a kick to the groin..

where'd you find a signed version?

There is an online book store in the states called Barnes and Noble and they had a 'signed edition' on their site. I grabbed a couple of copies at $19 each (one for me and one for a mate) but I am still not 100% convinced it will be a hand signed copy.

Some people are speculating that it will be autopen, others are saying that it is not signed but you can get it signed in store on certain days. The site clearly said it was a 'signed edition' and after a while, they were out of stock and only had the standard version available.

Either way, for $19 it will be a great read, signed or unsigned!

Alright. With today off, I canceled my pre-order a few days ago and decided to attend the signing myself.
I asked him what his favorite ring is among those that he won, and he mentioned the 96 one.

Another thing is that, the price of the book was roughly US$22 when purchased at the door/at the signing today, almost US$5 higher than the pre-order price. I am not sure if there is a price difference for the Los Angeles signing though.
At the very least, the autographs that I obtained are hand-signed by Phil Jackson himself, without any doubt. =)

For those who pre-ordered online, please post some photos whenever you receive the books, so that we could compare and see if there is any difference (suspected autopen vs. hand-signed).

My guess for the pre-ordered signed edition books are that there will either be autographed stickers or autographed tip-in pages.
With either of these two ways, Phil Jackson might be more willing to hand-sign the autographs, as both ways should probably take less time, much like what Panini did with his certified autograph cards.
Yes, they are not HARD-signed, but still, nice alternatives for people not being able to attend the signing events in person.

Someone in the US has received the pre-order signed edition, and it looks like they are all hard-signed!

I remember that the pre-order link was once taken down and after a while, it was back up for another while before BN finally stopped the pre-order.
Now with these books hard-signed, my guess for the action mentioned above is that Phil Jackson signed these books batch by batch. Whenever the pre-order link was taken down, it might mean that it's the time for Phil Jackson to sign that specific batch.

Another person received a book with two autographs on two separate blank pages in the front, so it's possible that they are hand-signed tip-in pages.
Anyway, when the packages reach you all, beware of the condition - someone mentioned that BN did a terrible job of packaging these books, and corners are screwed up.
