dud ebay seller

That's no good that he is trying that, but this is why I do not bid no matter what, if they will not say how much postage is. If you do bid without them letting you know cost IMO you are just left wide open for people like this.

Ye...didnt answer your full question did he...
Surly there must be something on ebay that stops these idiots making a huge profit on postage..

That's just bs!

When you get a response reply again, and say from my previous experiences at buying other US sellers send it by a small global priority envelope which is $5.50, but you'll give $10 to cover the fees etc.

If you still want the card it's a compromise at least, and if they don't go for it tell them to stick it where the sun don't shine.

thanks for the info Sash, paying $10 for delivery is no big deal for me, but anything more is taking to much of an advantage, after all shipping in the USA he charges $4. I think he must have just plucked a figure out of thin air.

I think he or she was unhappy with the final price, but i agree with AJ on this one. Nice card though for that price.

Get on the UPS website and use the calculator to work out the cost of shipping to australia via Global priority and send the seller the link....

Or.... just tell em you'll pay, but if there's not $28.50 on the postage you'll claim it back.

THEN...

When it arrives, claim the whole thing back. F-ck em.

Unbelievable !

Especially seeing you asked how much and he just avoided the question !!!

I concur.

The seller must have some idea... have a look at what other sellers charge for postage, and show him 3 or 4 different quotes for very similiar items, the majority of which would be a 1/3 even 1/4 the price he quoted you. Simply not on, dud ebay seller

well guys it is sorted out, he is going to relist (ebay to reimburse seller the fees) the card and we are going to leave it at that.

well, u don't even need to be non-paying bidder.

$28.5 is extremely crazy while he can do it with 8.3$ registered, tracking with insurance.. that's the one of the reasons i do not want to buy cards from US.

it's a ripoff, as from US, i received the envelope with 82 cents for 4 cards in it..

whats even more funny is that we both agreed to the cancellation of the transation, and he has left me positive feed back that is weird.
