So I noticed a 2003 set (32 cards) Melbourne Storm set sold for over $320 on ebay........ A few other teams rounded the $100 mark........

I can't judge of course... I have cowboy sets.... But I didn't fork out that much...... I think the most I paid was $22 for a set....... And for the quality.... Probably worth less... Lol...

I do wonder how disappointed the buyer will be....

i bought the world club challenge cards from the uk and they're paper thin.. i paid 35 and i was disappointed , i would love to be a fly on the wall when this package gets opened...poor bloke...

I have these 2003 cards in my PC as well and am happy to have them in it.

I agree the quality and collectability of them is questionable but I do like the fact that with 32 cardz in the set they have loads of fringe players who have never had a card made of them except in this set.....some never played a NRL game.

Having said that those recent Ebay sales blew me away and at $320 and $100+ I think there may be some buyer remorse.

Cheers
Ross

I seen the Bronco set on there a few weeks back and thought they might be a decent addition to the bronco set for $10.

2 days later they where up to $90 and there was no way in hell I was paying that.

To be honest...
I have a Tigers set, And if I didn't I'd pay $350.00 NO WORRIES!!
Why you might ask, Well fellas... The answer is quite simple,
I WANT THEM!!
I don't know how many of these sets there are, But that Melbourne set has 2 future Immortals in it...
In thier Rookie Year, I'm hardly savy with investments....
But $320 don't sound like a bad investment to me!!
-And I'm not even a storm fan...

Sounds like the rip off of the century to me.

Are you keen on buying my two Knights sets though Batboy? $300 each, they include current immortal Andrew Johns.

Do people actually buy knights cards?
I thought they just gave them away to the less fortunate?
Na man.... The knights ones are pretty poor compared to the mighty Tigers set!!

Yep, mighty Wests, on a mighty four game losing streak, in mighty fourteenth place.

Poor Knights fans, in lowly equal third, life just isn't fair.

I dont know where some people get their info from but these cards are not printed at home. All cards are designed on computers and it does not make any difference if the computer is sitting at a home office, a factory design shop or even mounted to your WC wall for that matter. They are printed in a print shop
