What is YOUR basketball background?

i was never any good at bball, better at soccer and cricket.
its funny that the guys that were quite good at school got knowhere. The only guy i know that made it from my old highschool was craig gower (nrl) and he's a dropkick.

i made under 14's nationals squad 2 years ago but got injured and didnt play. i'm 6ft and im 14. and i play sf on my team so size is a bit of factor.

at the moment im just playing div1 club bball. but the try-outs for nationals shouldn't be too far away

i actually don't have super expensive shoes. i have 2 pairs of bball shoes and they each cost about $160

i played divi 2 mens for about 1 and a half yrs when i was 16/17 but mostly streetball, allways loved playing 3 on 3,2 on 2 or 1 on 1 games

I coach Under 16 Representative teams and I have one kid who is not 14 yet (he'll turn 14 during the year, thats why he is under 16) and he would be 6'4.

I am about 5'11 and in my team there is only 2 bottom age kids(Pg and SG) and a midget point guard who wouldn't at least look me in the eyes.

what clubs do you coach at Billy?

my friends 6'5 and he's 15. he was just on the tour to Port Macquarie with the U/17 Metro Team and he plays Div 1 for 18 Hornsby.

thats what i was saying. i play against kids who are 6'4, 6'5. so height is a bit of a factor

Hey guys long time no posts..hehehe, well anyways i played rep ball for the frankston blues u/14 and 16....played national c/ships in 98 and the ais......and played melbourne tigers junior squads with lenard copeland as my coach....havent picked up a ball for like 3yrs tho.....i'd be abit rusty i think.....
