If it's going in a PC... Then yeah... If you're planning on selling it one day... Then probably no - the price won't be as good because some people don't like the idea...
I have a cowboys llb I'm going to get signed by Thurston in a few weeks... It's going in my PC and it'll stay there... Until I die... I'm always amused by the concept of other collectors getting upset by IP on expensive cards... If it's not your card.. Why do you care??
Truth is we can say "now there's only 47 out there".... If you don't OWN it then it's as good as there being none "out there..." We don't know if there is only 47 mint.. Maybe one was cornered from the pack... Maybe three were ruined by crap postage.... Maybe another one ended up in a kids back pocket...
