eBay has announced a new fee structure as of May 1.

If you sell on eBay every now and then or perhaps as a hobby, you’ll be able to take advantage of 40 free listings every month, free addition of a Buy It Now Price to any

Auction listing and free Scheduled Listings. Final value fees for successfully selling an item will increase to 9.9%.

Listing fees for the 41st listing each month and beyond will also change; Fixed Price and Auction listings with a Buy It Now or start price of $100 and under will be $1.50 each, over $100 will be $3.50 each.

Full list of new fees here: http://www2.ebay.com/aw/au/201304.shtml#2013-04-02100941

This is exactly why I'd rather post my cards on here and have people low ball me than sell on eBay. Not to mention buyers on here are far more reliable than Ebay

I agree and you don't have to wait 21 days for the cash to come through (which I have to as I'm not a premium seller).

I've noticed even ebay is alot quieter these days for cards. Are bball collectors turning to the sites hardcore now?

Certainly seems that way.

Keep at it Benny! I only had to sell about 15 items before they removed the 21 thing from me! ;)

Wow...... I think it would have been more appropriate for them to post this the day before (April 1st) lol

Let's run this down....

* 10 extra free listings/month
* Minimum listing fee cost has tripled to $1.50
* Final Value Fee has gone up 2%!!
* Max Final Value Fee is now 2.5x what it was @ $250

Nice job at fattening your pockets ebay!! :thumbsup:

Spot oN!

Why couldn't the forum setup their own ebay style system? (yes I know it would be hard and take a lot of time)

It could be structured like eBay with bidding and so forth and perhaps a small % of the sales go back into the forums development? It could just be for selling cards and maybe sporting memorabilia? Any thoughts?
