Powerade/Gatorade is just coloured water, sugar and salt, and only serves hydration, which isn't performance enhancing just common sense. Caffeine on the other hand is one of those drugs that sits in a grey area, so some athletic organisations consider it a PED while others don't.

While defining what makes a PED isn't clear cut, I think the general rule of thumb is a substance that has a direct and quantitative influence on your abilities. Which is probably why supplementing testosterone makes the cut, but protein powders don't.

I'd say it restores your ability to perform, not enhance. Like I said, hydration is simply common sense and if the opposition doesn't do the same then more fool them

I'd say yes to a certain extent.

I have experienced many up's through both fighting in juniors (yes even in juniors and intermediates) and through detention and army career.

I still use a couple of boosters as I call it when I do weights/play bball. One of which is now banned in Australia

Jack3D is the one I use and bought a few tubs before it was getting banned. Another is the strongest form of tribulus you can take, helps boost natural testosterone.

I believe these things help me at 32 do things I could do when I was 18-24. Yet they dont smash my body around or give me an unfair advantage over other people.

Recently I had a rec centre in Adelaide try to ban me from wearing skins to bball saying it aids my recover and is not part of the uniform. Unless I could get a note from the dr saying I had a medical condtion, so what did I do went and seen a doc and got a note :)

Does that make you a PED-ophile?? :P

id never heard of Jack3D until today! Was watching a vid where Joe Rogan was making a green shake and then he went through some of the supplements he takes and that was one of em.

Not banned in US but in AUS?
