I would stay away from 2010-11 Ultimate Collection because of the lack of rights that UD has at the moment. Pricing is $64.95 at DaCardWorld and not many on eBay at the moment. I wouldn't pay more than $70 though: 2010/11 UPPER DECK ULTIMATE COLLECTION BASKETBALL BOX | eBay


Haha not sure what type of response you want there but I think they're pretty good value and the card design is not bad either.

Hi all, I'm a newbie when it comes it nba boxes having bought many many afl boxes in my time. I have only ever bought 2 nba boxes, one past and present and 1 gold standard. I currently have 1500 to spend. Can I be pointed in the right direction with this 2 situations to benefit me most with some good hits. 1: use the 1500ish to buy a case of one particular box type eg 1 case of panini threads or 2: spread the cash and buy maybe 2 boxes of each type eg 2 threats, 2 prism. 2 gold standard etc totalling the 1500. Has anyone tryed both these methods and which one benefit u more? I understand its the luck but I wonder how far the luck goes with these methods. Thanks in advance

If you can afford a mid-high end case I'd definitely go with that. You'll at least be guaranteed something semi-decent.

I was just going on the cases they have in stock atm, if you want to wait then yes 11-12 would probably be a better option, Totally Certified will probably be around that price range as well, they're coming out on Nov 21.

Pretty much zero.... You get one hit I think and blaster hits are rubbish 99% of the time.... DA's been flogging these off for $20 and even that is a bit rich (most wax is overpriced garbage) You want a box of NBA, talk to Mr Papparazzi... Hobby boxes are more expensive but worth it if you must bust... stay away from a $50 blaster at all costs....

That is a terrible deal. Your best hit is very likely to be worth $3 or probably less...

HGi Mate i have busted lots of GS and i think the 11-12 is better for sure! However if your after Kobe autos then go the 10-11 but except for the 1 kobe auto per case 10box case they are pretty average and most good cards have already shown up on ebay so have been pulled. GOODLUCK!

I think these are definitely worth a crack still.

Finest has some amazing refractors to chase.

Skybox metal has some nice cards also.

Z Force also has a couple of nice insert sets.

You also run the risk of getting not much in return but these would be fun breaks. Kind of high risk high reward. But I reckon go for it.

I'd say better than buying a case of Certified or something garbage for twice the money.

You might be better off holding out until National Treasures at the end of year which will be the best product. Or the new Preferred, I reckon you could grab a case and you would get something very very nice.

national treasures comes out end of year? Just really wonna hit some derrick rose lol I have never pulled him and the 10-11 gold standard d rose list is nearly triple in number to hit and alot of these cards are /5 or lower, and I havbt really seen any on ebay and have only see 1 gold logoman d rose auto pulled in a case break on youtube. Just not sure if I should keep buying 10-11 and hopefully 1 day pull a card from my d rose set chase lol

national treasures seem to hold great value though.

Mainly autograph cards (especially when most, if not all of them, are hard-signed). However, I am also interested in pulling some nice parallels (not necessarily autograph cards - could be parallels of anything).
As for autograph cards themselves, while I mainly look for Autographics or Co-Signers (Stadium Club-only product), I am definitely open to chances of pulling other types as well (e.g. Sign of the Times, Topps Autographs, Bowman and its parallels, etc......just to name a few). Whatever I buy, if it can be limited to $100-$150 range, it would be perfect!

Hi, lately I looked at youtube for packing search that made me so furious! Good example in USA in Walmart or Target, the packet in the box is exposed to customer so they can pick how many. But something very disturbing happening. Some of them go there cheating to feel which one is thicker they think they will pull out jersey. So far some of them were caught by security and told them to put back where it was and leave the store on the spot. Some were still made off with the packet they searched. They video it how many jersey card they pull out so many of them. I am so angry with them! Cheating is not cool! How about other kids buy packet they never manage to pull out any decent after some cheater packet search and make it off with it. Those kids who missed out would surely feel very disappointing. I am hoping that one day all target and walmart store better buy hard plastic shelf and packet inside with a sample picture packet face upright to the front window of it and black cover on both side of container so they cannot see the thickness of packet when they look at then they can pull out one packet at a time from the bottom as packet falls to the bottom and that hard plastic container will stop them from packet search. That'll do the trick.

I have idea pop up. For you who from USA can you at any chance send my idea to them Walmart and Target so they can do that way for future reference to deterrent packet searching cheat? They should have power to issue warning and ban them from enter the store if those of them have been seen by store surveillance camera and police should have power to enforce for those situation if it is a really significant one. Enough is enough and enforcer is needed to stop them. Most cards shop are aware of them and they leave all it on their shelves well away from customer so they cannot cheat at all which is the main thing though. It would be wonderful if you could do so to pass the idea on to them. Thanks.
