Just picked up 4 packets from a local News Agent. All base. Parallel cards do look reasonably nice and the common cards are better than select have done for a first series in a while. Still doesn't seem to be much value in busting but I'll pick up a few packs here and there as the mood takes me. Might get lucky next time!

Picked up a few packs to have a look this arv. Decent looking cards without being outstanding. Pulled a Lowe retirement card and agree with the consensus that these inserts are nice. Other than that got base but only bought 6 packs. If this is indeed the equivalent of champions then I'm impressed. If this is the equivalent of a series 2 release then I'm disappointed. Think that sums it up

It encourages collectors to buy the folders (which had the checklist printed on the inside with the last release)

I guess I can in a way see sense in that. But it does mean keeping the folder around when working with the set or inserts as opposed to having a checklist or 2 hanging around to refer to easily

i live down the road at Airlie, my newsagent told me, cause of the highway at Gympie being cut for most of the week , he is expecting them on Monday/Tuesday to arrive.
