Excellent condition aside from the 4 corner pin holes

I reckon its a scan or copy. I don't think the Mobil cards had a white border around them at all.

At 1 stage or another i owned a lot of the cards and none had the white border! Yeah that is what i reckon! I have asked the seller the question and i am looking forward to the answer!
Otherwise i guess they are scanning the card and printing a pic!

I believe the Captains were each given a framed edition of the cards and some of these may have been split.

But more likely there was also probably a few extra's given away to particular supplies / resellers like 8088Edge in a act of neputism.

8088Edge bought this card off Ebay 3 years ago for about $300.00 & relisted it in his shop for $699.00 & about 1 year ago increased the price to $799.00.
The guy selling it 3 years ago stated it was one of the captain sets that was broken up.

I cant wait until my kids are old enough to play footy so i can show up to these community days and clean up on these cards. Amazing.

Imagine how many just got thrown on the ground by kids when given out.
