ESP NRL Traders 2013 Sneak Peak UPDATED WITH NEW IMAGE

Okay so I have been pondering what these insert ratios could be. Here are a couple thoughts.

1. This is the retail (Champions) release and I have heard in circles to expect 15,000 to 25,000 boxes. That would be 1250 to 1666 cases. Given we have been told that there are 2 high end signatures (Raper and Johns) that leads me to the following conclusions – Either

a. They are one per case and have been horribly over produced (with 400+) or….
b. They are not going to be a one per case hit – more like 1 in 4 (or greater) perhaps.

What does everyone else think?

I was told by an ESP rep that the volume of the release is approx 350,000 packets.

This was a few months ago so it may have changed but you wouldn't think it would change by much if it was their initial plan.

That's still 800 cases.

So there would have to be 400 each of the Johns and Raper card to be one per case (400 is a lot!). I still think on probability that these are more like 1:2 or 1:4 cases.

Ok, so when they say young guns they mean very young. Actually gives Korobete a chance at a card for the Tigers then....although i thought Sironen Jrn would have been perfect.

A photo of the back would be better, if we knew the numbering we can easily work out the total production volume.

still a nice great looking card for a champions type series cant wait to get some hope tigers is marika and siron in another set

We have seen the Dragons Young Gun card in the other thread: Nathan Green it looks pretty good as well.

1 Silver Tackle Card this may be Most tackles = Ballin but 12 Bronze Penalty cards I have no idea what these are, most penalties milked, given away, sin bins, referee cards as they give the penalties anyway who knows??

Bag Tags if they are what Jaede posted would be fairly easy to spot in a pack wouldn't they?

Looking forward to it

The try, penalty, tackle etc cards might not have any players on them. It could simply be a card with that word written on it to play the card game.

FYI - The Traders and Power Play starter packs are a blister pack containing 4 packs of cards for a special price. Traders RRP will be $12.99 and Power Play $9.99. Power Play cards will be supported by www.nrlpowerplay.com (the domain is parked and will be activated on release). I should get the flyer on Friday and the odds for Traders will be given on release date, at this stage 04 Mar 13.
