If anyone is keen to do a bulk buy at the end of the year (like off Cardzone) Im sure they would give us a reduced rate per card? Any good business would, not sure how CZ operate though!

Like I'd be keen for the Betham (maybe Jarrad for the Woolford???), save my pocket money up for the year lol

Good luck getting a discount off Wangy. I would have more luck winning the loto. I went down to his shop one weekend and ask him to buy a case of 09 classic. He replied with a price of $2780. I then asked him if he would do a discounted price for 10 cases. He replied I do not have 10 cases and asked him how many he had. He said he was not sure but no more than 3 or 4. So I asked him how much for all of them and he said $2780 a case. This was christmas of 2010

I would not sell my johns captain for under 1400. I know I will not get that at the moment people are just a little strapped at this point in time. Assure me the market will recover it is just a matter of time. these cards will be worth a fortune as we know there are only 40 of them. If you can hold on to them it will be worth it . Time to buy is know

Well I've never seen one go for over $1200 on ebay ... so I guess the time to buy them has been any time up until and including now.

One did go for around $1200 when the 2009 captain sigs came out and prices went a bit nuts. But yeah, that's the highest I've ever seen. Happy to stand corrected.

I wouldn't sell my Johns for anything, doesn't mean it's worth a million though.

Yeah, I did have to chuckle at the thought of Wangy giving a discount! Muzzzdogg is new to collecting, I think ... bit of a rookie error.

Obv Wang does think its worth the entire RRP and then some if he doesnt want to move in bulk for a discount

Probably more a question for you seasoned collectors:

Given the limited release of this signature set, how often do they come up for sale individually or maybe a set broken up?

Just asking because the only Betham I have seen in 9mths is Cardzones for $950, and thats a touch steep I think

Would be keen to hear thoughts on availability and pricing
