Although I would like to see the one where D. Rob blocks Hakeem TWICE from two inbounds plays that wins the Spurs the game:thumbsup:

But in all, Hakeem beat D. Rob stats wise head to head most of the time unfortunately.
 
i feel like he never got as much love as he should of when he was in the league, and still people always rate him low when talking about top 50 talents to ever play, i love wearing my olajuwon jersey!!!

Totally agree, hobby wise he's pretty reasonably priced too.

But, that's most centres really.
 
While he was one of VERY few people I rank in from of D Rob as C, he wasn't the GOAT as C, Wilt, Kareem, Russell all get ahead of Hakeem on the list! But I agree, he is under appreciated!

Dude is a bit 'simple' when it comes to brain power though, I think?? lol

Doesn't know to sign the front or back? And, if he genuinely did think he was meant to sign both sides, why didn't he write the 34 on the back?? lol

He was the best centre from the 90's and that's saying a lot I think.
D Rob, Patrick and Shaq all feel short against him.
People focus on his offensive moves, but he could defend anyone.
 
I'd say it was handed to him reversed and he started signing before someone told him it was the wrong way around, he probably signed 2000 things in one sitting and had all kinds of things thrown in front of him, babies included!

Those last 2 I remember well......I can remember lots of guys trying to replay that one on a court.

I can remember watching quite a few of those on TV.
 
The fact that D.Rob and Ewing make multiple appearances show just how many great battles they had against each other. Could've included at least one fadeaway in this though.
I'm sure a D.Rob highlights reel would have Hakeem coming off second best a few times too.
