Potential Players who never made it big?

Exactly what they said a few years back about Beasley. But as it turns out, Beasley is that classic "tweener" - not enough outside game, especially defensively, to play SF, and too small to play full time PF, so unless they can come off the bench and play a bit of a sparkplug role, they struggle to find a niche in the league. And I am afraid DWill is looking like a Beasley clone in that respect.
but i think player like thatcan fit with teams like LA where they have the big centre and a good back court, just a bit of speed and hustle at either sf or pf.

Christian Laettner, most potential of any college player I think, just couldn't transfer it to the big time, he was solid
Don't get me wrong.

Yeah he has to be one of the biggest ones, made the dream team for crying out loud when he was still in college if im not mistaken?

His hype was him being a scoring leader in the nba. Prior to injury he was just an average role player.
His hype going in was his passing skills.

I wouldn't exactly call a point guard who, in his rookie year, averaged more points & more assists than Chris Paul, Derrick Rose & Russell Westbrook in their rookie seasons an average role player.

Guess we read different reports on him :)
