Okay folks, I'm on my way to Sydney between the 1st and 6th of March...

any recommendations on things to do places to see people to do errr see lmao...

any ideas are welcome!

At Darling Harbour there are the Sydney Aquarium, Sydney Wildlife World (New) and the Maratime museum. And also close is the Casino.

Take a ferry ride to Manly you can walk around there and there are shops there.

Maybe also Taronga Zoo.

Bondi Beach is also quite nice, but avoid the weekends. You might see some famous people there.

LOl...they actually held the world championship of 9 ball at rooty hill rsl...

what do you like doing wolves?

Actually I was just gonna say any decent card shops? And personally anything that involves sport or even museums sound alright!

The vegas of the west, the rooty hill rsl!!1

Hey.......thats my local RSL and gym you are picking on there....and its now the "Venue of the West" as the vegas bit upset the non gambling people.:D

I even renewed my membership just this afternoon!

My suggestions would be close to Ersk's and those above.

However If you have enough cash do a Bridge Climb! (not cheap though)

Heres a few ideas:

- Catch a ferry from Circular Quay to Manly.

- Whitewater rafting at Penrith if you feel adventurous.

- Casino/Aquarium/Darling Harbour/Maritime Museum/IMAX all in the one area in the city.

- Taronga Zoo is good....great view of the City.

- Go on a sportspace tour of the SCG/SFS

- Plenty of great places to eat in Balmain/Newtown.

- The Powerhouse Museum/Australian Museum/Art Gallery

- Catch a local band at the Annandale or the Hopetoun.

- Have an intersting time at the Cross :D

- Go to the Rocks Markets or even better, Parklea Markets.

Hope that helps you a bit!

Cheers:)
Matt

Have you been to Sydney before AJ? In terms of card shops, as discussed previously, there's not much doing. But there's loads to do in the city, day or night. Make your way down to Cronulla if you get the chance, some of the best beaches in Sydney are here. Where abouts are you staying? Why not even, if possible, spend a day up at the Blue Mountains..

Never been to sydney before.... I'm going as part of a youth group... we shall be staying at a backpackers somewhere..... only thing I know i am doing for sure is going to Mardi Gras.... lol

but the beaches sound like they are worth investigating..... and I'd love to go to the Zoo.

If your in the city there is one card shop - authentics. But you can pick boxes up off westriot who also works in the city. The bridge climb is good , you can go up centrepoint tower as well. There are a few museums/art galleries in town. Also the aquarium at darling harbour is really good.

Bondi Beach is also quite nice, but avoid the weekends. You might see some famous people there.

The Bondi Beach "Walk" is a sensational view ! The footpath winds all along the ciff faces right up to the beach - Definitely Recommended :D

If you have some extra $$$ the Harbour Bridge climb is sensational :)
