A Steve Nash mailday and a small rant!

Hi everyone,

I received a few nice Nash Lakers cards over the past few weeks but I thought I would show these 2.

First of all a nice Hoopla auto from one of our great members here!

Now on to my rant. When the sell sheet for these cards was released the stated odds for this insert set was 1 in 20 cases....... yes 1 in 20 cases. With 25 cards in the set it would be hard to track one down.

I was lucky enough to find one on eBay at a price I thought was reasonable for a 1 in 20 case release.

This morning I saw Panini has revised the odds on these cards from 1 in 20 cases to 1 in 2 cases.

I love the card, love the design but if I knew it was only 1 in 2 cases I may not have paid the price I did.

I still like the card but I must say it left a little bit of a bad taste in my mouth.

End rant.

Thanks, yeah there is 1 I know of and another couple that are redemptions and will be on card.

I must admit I love the Lakers colours I was half tempted to collect LA instead of the Warriors as my second team but as the Lakers were stolen from the state the team I follow is from I could not bring myself to do it lol

Great mail, sux rant. Hey I think I heard that the Larry Bird was 1:30 cases, someone hit one here or on BO, was sooo stoked for them too, poor buggers.

If it is any bonus Matt, it is one of the nicest Nash in Lakers uni cards I have seen!!

The Hoopla auto isn't bad either!

I was wondering why I managed to win a Melo version for $21 when others before that sold for $80-$90.
Theyre nice cards tho, Im thinking about doing the set if thats the actual odds on getting them
