Then how can you say he's useless on the world stage?

I don't know how people don't know who he is, he's been a regular for England for donkey's years. I didn't see any of him in the Superleague this year, but I trust the judges that they got the right player, they are usually on the money.

To be honest if anyone other than an NRL player gets it then it is a joke. The standard in Australia is so much higher than England and our players also consistently perform well on the international stage.

I don't see what the standard of competition has to do with it, this award is for the best player, not the strongest comp.
