I'm strongly considering going all out on collecting Supernatural. I am predominantly a Basketball collector but would like to widen my options so I don't know how things go with TV cards.

Are they worth collecting?

Will they hold the value when the show finishes?

Should I be worried that Supernatural is currently in Season 8 and they stopped making cards at Season 4?

Is there anything else I should know about collecting TV show cards?

OH and also, is there somewhere I can go to find out what TV/Movie cards there are. I seem to be discovering new ones every day.

I think some are.

EG i love Big Bang Theory so decided to get one wardrobe card of each character. Some and not cheap compared to NBA game worn but i believe the print run is lower.

Im a fan of supernatural so down the track will get at east one costume/wardrobe card of the the two brothers.

Why don't you bust a box of Supernatural on the mass bust event Matty??

This does look cool though

Some hold value and some don't. Collect what you like rather than as an investment. Some shows are also very cheap - for example, I really like Warehouse 13 (a scifi show) and even main cast autos are available at $30.

To answer your question about what is available - see http://nslists.com/jaall.htm

If you want to know what new releases are going to be done - see http://www.nonsportupdate.com/upcomingreleases.htm

This is true. I guess there is one difference between NBA & TV cards, some NBA cards are often looked at as an investment.

Surely benchwarmers are the only non sport trading cards worth collecting. =D>=D>=D>=D>
Nice Matty, Nice. I'll give you the like for that one.

I think with TV shows its easier to chase the whole lot. Less inserts in total, less base cards, some autos are big mulah... like I decided I want to get Alias cards, Jennifer Garner autos are way out of my price range at the moment lol

Yeah but who doesn't want a Jennifer Garner auto!! *drools*

Simpsons, Big bang, true blood are all huge money sets, I like anything Dark Knight. movie used tyres, costumes, bat suit pieces and autos. I think anything heath ledger sells for a mint.

I know its not from a TV show....but i was checking out some James Bond cards and this is a beauty!
