You know what I hate about Panini?

Oh so many pics of Gervin in this thread, I'm drooling!
I have been aware and annoyed by this practice from both companies for ages,
when I posted my mailday of all the Iceman retros plenty of others noticed it straight
away too.
If you do an ebay search for Gervin photo there are heaps of photos on there, so surely
there must be more comercially available out there for them.
THis is my favorite but have never seen it used on a card:

I have tonnes more examples from my pc of the reused photos:
I guess the card companies do it as a cost saving measure.
Ive noticed it in AFL cards from time to time as well so its certainly not a unique thing to these two companies

I hate it when someone has a bad opinion about panini and a select few bash you for it in the thread you started, then immediately start to rubbish UD because they are so defensive about panini.

You should try taking it out of context! Oh wait, you did!
The issue was that people blame one company for something that every company does! It is like saying "I hate Holdens because they emit carbon monoxide"! If that is the case, your problem is with all vehicles!
Call it an opinion or whatever makes you feel better, but it is misdirected.
Personally I don't love Panini, but I love NBA cards, and that IS Panini, so look at the positives instead of blaming them for the way the hobby is as a whole!
I'm not blaming any company for anything, I don't have an arguement about panini or UD, I can see what's going on and where each company needs to improve etc etc, so there's no use preaching to me about the hobby or who gets what blame.
The point of my post was that AJ started a thread stating she hates panini because of the Rubio photos, is annoyed and wants different ones. Then shes hammered for saying her piece, not to mention the massive low blow from Rhys! You tell me who took it out of context mate?? Def not me, I'm only commenting on what I see in the thread
No one had an issue with AJ saying she was sick is the Rubio pics! It was only once it changed to bagging Panini for reusing pics!
That is why it was out if context mate!
But if people are going to post comments publicly, then they need to expect different viewpoints on the topic to be posted as well! It is a public thread on a forum!
And the other thing, is that we all need to remember that these sort if discussions are NOT Personal! AJ and Brentus are 2 of my favourite people on OCT, but we don't always agree with each other!
It's not so much that I was "standing up" for your comments AJ, the point is (talking to Adam now) mate you state so many times that your "sick of people hating on panini when UD have the same faults" etc etc, well wanna know what I'm sick of? The fact that when anyone has a rant about panini, deserved or not, you and others quickly jump in and bash UD saying "they do it too" or "they have been doing it longer" . Now if I start a thread having a go at panini about watever reason and then you come on and do your thing it only aggravates an arguement, if someone is having a go at panini bloody let them rant, if you feel so bad about it start a thread ranting about UD, topps or watever.
Mate, as I said, if someone is going to post a thread on a public forum, they need to expect to get responses! Your logic is that the OP can say what they like, but if someone responds and disagrees, they are in sighting an argument???
Perhaps a disclaimer needs to be included at the end of a rant thread to say "if you agree with me, feel free to post, but if you disagree, then don't post"

Everyone has a right to their opinion, I think it needs to be kept respectful though (which this thread was for the most part). This thread is all the NBA/Twolves fault, for having them wear the stupid muskies jerseys in the first place lol
