You know what I hate about Panini?

Yeah, I get what you are saying! You probably wouldn't mind it if it was a different Wolves player that already has dozens of 'non Muskies' cards out there, but Rubio is more limited!

PS - I am gonna buy myself a Rubio jersey for my Birthday in Jan! ;)

Very true, my Rubio collection is limited and when I see the new set of Totally Certified had Rubio in a Muskies Jersey I about lost it - well I did obviously LOL

I don't think you understand, I don't hate panini, and I don't think its just right because it has happened before, point is panini make the cards that I bought, I didn't buy exquisite but if I did I would probably notice it, and it's not always to complain, I say what I think is bad, say what I think is good...
 
I totally understand the re-using of pics. They'd need to literally buy 100s of photos of each player, and juts using Ice Man above, where would they get so many pics which could be used?

And I know you don't 'hate' Panini, I have seen your PC Battle cards! Lol
But this thread certainly made it look like a complaint about Panini doing what all card companies do!
 
Ever considered they may have had further plans to get more pics of him before he got injured? They cannot send their photographers out to every single game. You have to work with what you have.

Are you on Paninis payroll? Cause I see every time someone has anything remotely negative to say about them (even when I love their cards for the most part in this instance) you jump up and down protecting them. They have photos from Wolves games, they are just choosing to use heaps of Muskies pics and that annoys me.
 
I know im being 'Captain Obvious' here but Upper Deck definitely dropped the ball on Retro and Exquisite.
Are they not allowed to re-use images theyve used previously throughout the years when they had the license?
And perhaps just been a little bit more clever with their card designs so that no team/nba insignia is shown?

And for the record, some of my favourite cards ever designed are from Panini... :crazy:

Nah woolies actually and they pay me quite well, well enough i can afford to buy the occasional freebie for someone else and have it sent out to them when they keep going on about how expensive the hobby is. Was a thought nothin more nothing less

LOL Strange reply... don't take my query so personal man, it was actually a fair observation with a joke tacked on the front.

I myself am unemployed but still find the opportunities to send freebies out to people... not really sure what any of that has to do with anything though :/

I have had cards, but all from people I knew and accredited in the good deeds thread. Anyways I shot you a PM to clear the air... perhaps something showed up from someone else and you can advise what it was so I can give credit where due :)

Edited... have found the card... didnt realise Rhys was behind it, good job man ty :D
 
I hate Panini and Upper Deck and Topps!

I hate George Gervin and his stupid pose on all of his cards!

I also hate giving out and receiving freebies! I hate Rubio and his stupid Muskies Jersey!

I hate this thread too!
