You know what I hate about Panini?

Their freakin insistance on taking HEAPS of photos of Ricky Rubio in our throwback retarded nothing to do with the club at all Muskies jerseys... OMG seriously nice cards ruined but a freakin Muskies jersey... it would be fine and a nice variation if it was one card but the amount of Wolves cards in egneral with Muskies jerseys... GAH a big F U to Panini and their cheapness!

Rubbish! License or not, they could both put more effort into it! At least Panini's is less noticable!

These problems are within the hobby, I just get sick of hearing people bag Panini for doing what every company has been doing fo r years, just because they are now the sole license holders!

I was bagging Panini not so much for same photos... as for fifty million friggin Muskies photos... the Muskies were an ABA team I think, IF that... had NOTHING to do with the Timberwolves other than us being forced to come up with some vintage crap jersey and Panini decided we need heaps of cards with this inconsequential jersey on them... it was just a rant about that everyone has turned it into more, I still love most of Panini's card designs I just want more wolf and less muskie

Both ADam and AJ makes some very valid points. I too am sick of everyone bagging Panini, have we all forgotten just how bad Upper Deck were towards the end of the days they had the license.. Having two Exquisite releases only a couple of months apart

Yup perfect for the teams to wear for a few games, not perfect for Panini to put on just about evey Rubio card and a few Beasley cards they produce lol its just a pet peeve, it could be worse thats for sure, and I personally love some of Paninis releases like NT, gold standard, Totally certified etc

Im not a big fan of either company, but to compare a company for using the same pictures of a college player (4years) in the 70s when photography was no where near the amount of a prime player in the NBA during its peak years for a 14 year career is just plain dumb.

It is also a comparison of 3 Dumars cards vs 9 Gervins!

Call it dumb if you like, bit it is even dumber to bag one company for something that others have been doing for years!

I guess some people just have to find things to complain about instead of just focussing on the things that they like in the hobby??
