My Monday Morning Paypal Rant.

I love Paypal!

Sold a card overseas early November and it was sent by registered post. The card sold for $80 and I charged $10 postage and sent it registered ( which I know isn't traceable)

Anyway the card has been delivered and positive feedback as left for me on eBay by the seller about a week and a half ago.

Now my funds in Paypal are still pending.......so I rang them. They can see the positive feedback left by the buyer but because of their "policies" the item doesn't show up on their screens as "traceable" and they won't release the payment!

How stupid is this? The buyer has the item and said so and they are still trying to confirm delivery?

Stupid! They said they will try and release the funds but can't promise this and I'll have to wait out the full waiting period. Nice of them to use my money to earn a bit more interest!

Yes that is a problem because its only traced within Australia registered post even express post overseas they can only track that as far as what airport and flight it leaves on nothing else.
But dont worry i really hate to say this but i can beat that and this is a true story it happened to me and you may die laughing when you read it.
I sold a $5 signed card on ebay including pstage came to $7.00.
After i got my funds throught paypal the day after i sent it to this buyer came up a proof of item being sent.So i rand paypal and told them this customer paid only $2 postage they did not want it registered so why are the funds being reversed,they told me it was not them that did it but the buyer went to his bank and asked the to reverse the payment that he did not buy it as i went throught the process of paypal explaining to them again what had happened the reversed the payment so not only am i out a $5 signed card and postage but i now have no money and 3 workig days after the payment was reversed i get a message through ebay saying thank you for the card so i asked about payment never heard another thing from him again straight onto ebay who banned this guy and his name so he cannot open another account.
I used to think everyone had to start somewhere so i would give the Zero rating customers a go but the only problem i ever have are the $1,$2 & $5 sales never a problem with $50,$400 or even $1000.00 Sales.
