Crazy 8 Box Breaks

Just a heads up, there's random Chrome and Panini Prime Signature random breaks happening today at Crazy8's. Think I'll sit these out...Chrome looks disappointing this year and while sigs looks reasonable at $9 share, it's a hits only break of five boxes, so not great odds...

Just got of there looking at these, have not committed to any as of yet lol

I agree about Chrome. Not a big fan. Just got two spots in the Prime Signature #2 break though.

Good luck, I had another look at Sigs when the reminder email came through, but still can't seem to convince myself to have a go at it for some reason...

And seeing as you have minimal chance of getting your base or numbered parallels (incl any base printing plates!!) its a bit of a risky one methinks
 
Yeah, I think a total of 6 returns across 32 people makes it a pretty tough one...Lots of multiple player cards in the set too, which will mean even more randoming! Didn't think the checklist looked all that great either, at least with my Rams colored glasses on !

Admittedly it's not all that expensive though.... So come on Shannan, beat the odds and make me regret being a cheapskate :-)
 
Got nothing. The worst part about it is paying the additionial $10 for "shipping" when I won't even have anything to get shipped! Also not a fan of how base and printing plates don't go to the team, but rather get randomized off at the end.
 
Feel for you mate ! All in all it looked a very disappointing break and product, best hit was the Andre Reed and that's probably a $20 card at the very, very, best !

I don't know how Panini can justify a product like that, you're paying $60 to get a RC auto (most times) that's worth maybe $10 ??? The base are never worth much, even if they're numbered. The product's price point should be closer to half of what it is... $30 would be worth the gamble that you might get a star or something...either that or put two auto's in every pack... Prominence is a better deal with it's two autos and one jersey for only $17 more...

Mechanics of that break were only ever going to lead to 26 disappointed people I reckon. 5 hits and someone else gets all the base. In the end whoever got the base and parallels probably did better than some who got hits !

Hope we start to see some better product breaks coming along as there released...Abs Mem, Black, Crown Royale, maybe Strata... Wonder if there's going to be a Triple Threads this year ??
 
I agree the price is crazy. I took the gamble knowing odds are I wouldn't get anything because it was cheap enough, but was still pretty disappointed about paying $10 for shipping when I won't have anything shipped! That stings a little.
 
Should have only been $5 mate, unless you placed 2 separate orders... He's set it up so it's flat rate per order of $5. Which sometimes works in our favor as if you order a number of shares and get all the base etc..
 
Something is wrong then guys, this is how my billing looked when I got the 4 shares in Chrome last week (10/11/12) -
Subtotal: $120.00 USD
Discount: -$15.00 USD
Shipping: $5.00 USD

Drop Jon a line...unless he's found it unsupportable at a flate rate, something isn't working right ! I'm sure he'll fix it and Shannan I reckon if you remind him of having paid the shipping charge but not got anything to ship he'll look after you...He probably hasn't twigged on it. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't the $5 only a surcharge for us OS folks - I couldn't find it on the site ?? Don't think the US guys pay it do they - Their shipping is built in to the break price? So I think it's only to cover the extra expense of getting it here...doubt he'll want to charge it if he's not shipping anything at all...
