Set Chase Ideas

Ok so, I have throw in the Donruss Master Set Chase mostly because I missed out on two 1/1's :( and because I kinda lost interest.

So now I'm looking for more achievable set chase but I'm not sure which one. So I was hoping for some suggestions.

I'm wanting it to be AT LEAST 50-100 cards, over 100 would be fine too and It has to be an Auto set, it would also have to be from a low-end set so I can afford boxes. Preferably Panini & NO 1/1s haha

I'm leaning towards the 09-10 UD Signature Collection cards.

Let me know if you guys have any suggestions.
 
I would hang on and see what releases come out over the next few months, including Limited and Certified, with most sets from this year having the 100 Rookies, and thus 100 Rookie Autos. Then you just have to hope that you bust a Kyrie and/or Davis and your set just got a whole lot more affordable. From what I have heard, there are still plenty of releases from Panini for this 12/13 Season that we havent seen much of yet, so I would bet there is something still to come that is bound to take your fancy.

Having said that I do like the 09/10 UD Signature Collection set, nice and clean, but personally, if I am doing a set chase that includes Auto's, I do like for the Auto's to be on-card, but thats just a personal preference (I'm sure I'm not the only one).

Here is the deal Matty...... answer these questions for me, then I will be able to give you some options/examples.

Do you like:

Autos, Inserts or Material cards?

On Card autos or Stickers?

Panini or any other brand?

Rookies, vets or a mixture?
 
im trying to put together a complete 2010 greats of the game set. its a 85 card base set with auto parrallels (and numbered parrallels aswell). then theres another 50 odd cards in the sub-sets, which also have an auto parrallel (#ed /10). a large GU insert set (36 cards), and then the pretty much impossible auto inserts (ranging from #/15 > #/5).
tough, but do-able and would keep you chasing for quite a while. no 1/1s...that i know of.
not quite what youre asking for, but could be interesting?

I like Autos

Preferably stickers but on card would be fine.

Preferably Panini.

Mixture is fine.


I was also looking at the 11/12 Panini Hoops Autograhs there are 185 in that set.

I've always liked sticker autos... I feel like it makes the auto stand out more and in sets it makes the Auto's more uniform because they are always in the same spot on the card

Just make sure you find only sets/cards where they signed in the right spot!!

What about all of the sticker autos that run off the sticker? There are much more of those than the on card autos in the wrong spot!

That's true... On-Card or Sticker wouldn't bother me... I'm not sure there would be any On-Card sets with 100+ cards in it.
 
What about 11-12 Gold Standard Signs if Gold - 100 card sticker auto set with a pretty sweet checklist!!
 
I think the 09/10 UD auto set is pretty sweet.

Another one which is one of the best sticker auto sets by far I personally think is the 05/06 SP Signature edition. A cracking list of guys.I've been tempted to go for it myself a few times.
