eBay and Boxing Day

Just thought I might let you know what the discussion on the Beckett baseball threads has been.

Christmas Day is going to be bargain day on eBay due to buyers spending time with their families.

That means for us Aussies we can use Boxing Day to watch the cricket and watch lots of auctions.

Thought you might want to keep an eye out.

Also, OC Sportscards is having a sale on Christmas Day.

yeah, i looked, there are no real bargains going today on ebay. you might find an auto that usually goes for $10-15 go for 99c, but not anything like a wade auto going for under $50.

not sure of the becket value but you out bid me i was only looking at it because the numbered card was the same number as his jersey number congratulations on the win i am not complaining as i have picked up some good jordan bargains and a few other things i think it has been a good day on e-bay and i have not finished yet

i thought it was a bargain but then again i cant find the bv. I saw another dual jersy by the same seller but he pulled it with 1 hr to go. I saw the jordans from nesie , some nice cards.

I pulled it because it was listed wrong. I failed to list that it was limited #49/50 and the scan didn't show just how good the patches really are.
Bargains galore to be found today, I managed to pick up a B.Gradkowski/Tampa Bay Buccs Topps Chrome Rookie Auto with a book value of $50US for just $10US this was listed as a card to hold onto by the Beckett Monthly Newsletter a while back. Also managed to find a Exquisite Super Jersey along with many other bargains.

The Gasol Jersey Relic probably wouldn't be listed yet on Beckett due to it being an 06-07 release. I never even realised the Limited number matched his jersey. As for the Rookie auto that was through US Ebay.

My wife was going through our listings yesterday and noticed that I never put this info in, so why would i list it again at half price straight after pulling it. Find out the real story before mouthing off next time.

Seeing you have asked me a question I will give you my answer - I think it was because previous to you listing it again your auction was finishing on a public holiday when very few people would see it and it was going to go way too cheap - You asked me why so that is what I think. No offence intended here, it's just my opinion, as you can tell I am very sceptical when it comes to this sort of stuff. I don't believe the reason you gave so it would not have made a difference if I heard your "story" before mouthing off (as you put it) Nothing you say will convince me otherwise, champ !

Pulling an auction 1 hour before it closes it VERY suspect no matter what spin you put on it and that is my opinion full stop !!!

I am not trying to start anything with you, just giving my opinion - I am entitled to it whether it's right or wrong

I had other auctions which went cheap CHAMP, for example CHAMP the Gasol 1of1 and a couple of Limited Bogut Jerseys.
So why didn't I pull those CHAMP? Maybe because I was telling the truth and failed to list the card as a limited #49/50.
Why don't you go and label someone else a liar and build a bridge while your at it, your a clown .

To be honest - I don't care, I have given my opinion on this matter and as I said before - It won't change no matter what spin you put on it, champ

I won't comment on this subject again (In case it blows out of proportion) so I will leave you to have the last say.

BTW - What part of the Defence Force are you ? ARA, RAN or RAAF ?

The "big" players it's obviously going to be harder to get the this sort of steal, but they are cheaper non the less.
