mattyj - I never question sellers postage costs.
All I say is "gee whiz, that's way too high for me, and it's more than the card itself, the most I ever paid was like $38, and that was for a $2K item, I'll have to pass etc etc"
But how do you claim excess shipping cost through Paypal?
bas - I just don't understand it anymore, and as I already told a few mates in the US alreday. Next year, after my current sets are done, I'm going to limit right down on my set/theme chases. It's gotten really bad nowadays, and the shipping on a 42 card set, alraedy sets me back like nearly $1K more, just in express insured shipping.
Then you add in how many sets I have worked on, and it's not good at all.
Allstar cards inc - Nah, not at all. I was shopping for a "late" XMAS present (man, there are steals galore on e-bay right now, you guys should check it out if you can) and was going to bid on a Shaq card that I though a collector would want. It was a Just a Shaq base card.
jimboiitmac - Nah, it was 1 solitary card bud.
The most I have ever paid, was $38 odd, and that was for express, fully insured $2k item.
And it wasn't a mistake, because a few days earlier, I was quoted $30 odd for ground shipping, and $60 for air mail (insurance extra) on a 1 card item as well. It wasn't a mistake, it's like this all the time, and has never been so prevalent as it has been now. This is why, after this, I am seriously going to cut back on the chases, and just stick other things. It's just too hard and expensive.
